I like that you let reality come in with little things like laundry and dishes. Life and love are not so easy when you don't have servants catering to your every whim. If they can get over this basic relationship hurdle I think they will do well, if they don't get caught that is. Any half-jotunn, quarter human/aesir babies in the near future?
my suggestion for your story is too somehow let Loki escape from prison and he go back to his home planet and become king and then till Odin he wants grace for his queen..and there will be no war between their planets
