Summary

Claire Reynolds wakes up from a coma with some unsettling news; she's been dead for over a year. Killed in a car crash that took the lives of both her parents, Claire joins SHIELD as the newest member of the Avengers Initiative. The problem is, Loki is back, and prepared to wreak havoc once again. This time, however, his plans involve Claire, a little more intricately than she'd like.

Rated R for strong language in later chapters.

A highly intelligent College student who died in a car crash just over a year ago. She was brought back to life by SHIELD agents, using a similar Serum to the one given to Steve Rogers. Her genetic information was also edited, giving her special abilities, such as Acid Blood. She wields the Asgardian sword called Denearmul. Recently, she began a relationship with Captain Steve Rogers.

A sword forged in Asgardian mountains, soon after humanity began. The sword can only be held by an Asgardian, but it cannot be used to it's full power by anyone other than the Child with the Blood Of Fire. This is revealed to be Agent Claire Reynolds, who can weild the sword to it's full extent. Because of the age of the sword, the full powers of it are unknown to Thor, so Claire has to to discover the powers herself.

Steve Rogers (Captain America)

Captain Steve Rogers was a Super Soldier, modified by a special serum in the 1940's. Frozen in ice for 70 years, he is now a SHIELD special agent, and a member of the Avengers Initiative. Recently he began a relationship with fellow SHIELD agent and Avenger Claire Reynolds.

    Claire Reynolds wakes up in a Hospital Room alone, and she is about to have her entire world flipped upside down.

  2. Chapter Two

    Claire meets the other Avengers for the first time.

  3. Chapter Three

    Claire begins to settle into her new life.

    Groping around in darkened store rooms with the Super Soldier.

  5. Chapter Five

    Claire discovers something the other Agents in SHIELD have been keeping from her.
