Baby
* * * 26th September 1989 * * *
The cries of a newborn filled the room. A calm serenity filled the air as the doctor, new father, new mother, and midwife gave a sigh of relief with the rest of the team. A beautiful baby girl was born.
The father taken the child off of the doctor,
“She’s our precious little girl…” his smooth deep voice spoke; the father had black hair and emerald green eyes. His name was Harrison. Harrison Halle was a Newcastle Football player and was up in the leagues with David Beckham. Harrison was a very skilled goalie and had been with the team since he was 18.
“Precious… Precious Elizabeth Halle.” The mother on the bed whispered and lifted her limp arm and gripped onto her husbands arm. Her blue eyes looked up at her caring husband. Her name was Pamela. Pamela was the managing director of a retail company called River Island. It was a famous clothing store in the UK.
Harrison looked down at the young baby now asleep in his arms. Calm, peaceful and his daughter, a smile appeared on the parent’s faces.
“I like the name Precious” Harrison smiled gently, “Her name shall be Precious.” Harrison spoke. Pamela was too tired to argue, her body strained and weak from the ten hours of labor giving birth to the 9lbs baby.
Precious Elizabeth Halle.
The future was already planned for this young baby, she had a gene, a mutant gene. This baby was going to be one of the most famous mutants of Europe. She was going to become… Oceanus.
Oceanus… Master of the waves.
Oceanus… Master of the sea life.
Oceanus… Avenger and leader of the Titan Alliance.
* * * 5 Years Old * * *
“I don’t wanna go to school mummy!” my voice screamed, my arms gripped onto the wooden pole at the top of the stairs. It was my first day of school. My Mummy said I had to go to learn. My big sister Raven was getting mad at me because I was being a ‘big baby’. I wanted to stay home and watch my Daddy play football on the TV.
Daddy was a football player. He played for… I forget. Though me, Mummy and Raven lived in Stafford. Daddy was a very good football player, and we had lots of toys because of how good Daddy was. I also want to be a football player… but I also want to work with fish and whales and dolphins.
I looked down at my Mummy who was at the bottom of the stairs with her arms folded. Mummy had brown hair and blue eyes. She was angry with me as well. I sniffed lightly as she smiled.
“Come on darling, you need to go to school. Raven will protect you.” Mummy smiled gently. Mummy’s smile was the best; she always made me smile as my teeth shown in a very big smile.
“Okay.” I nodded and let go of the pole and slowly hopped down the stairs counting them as I went. Mummy held her hand out to me and I reached up to hold hers. She walked me out to the car with my older sister walking behind us. I looked back at Raven and smiled at her, she had copper hair like me and blue eyes like Mummy. My eyes were green like Daddy’s.

The car stopped outside my new school very quickly. Mummy helped me out of the car and checked that Raven and me had everything. I looked to the school, seeing all the other children made me smile and I walked in after Mummy kissed my head.
Raven had to leave to the other playground. I was by myself in the play area. Though another grown up woman walked over to me. She looked very pretty, black hair and blue eyes. My Mummy has blue eyes.
“Hello there. What is your name?” the woman knelt down and smiled at me gently. My left foot twisted on the floor gently as my cheeks felt warm.
“Precious…” I spoke gently and looked to the ground as I held my Little Mermaid lunch box in my arms wrapped across me. The woman smiled, just like Mummy. I looked up at her again and smiled back. This woman made me smile like Mummy!
“Precious Halle. Come with me and we shall get you settled in.” The woman stood up and her hand held out towards me. I held my lunch box in my left hand and my right hand held hers.
Walking inside the door I saw the walls were cream and the floor was blue, though the material looked rough and hurt if you were to fall over on it. There were boys and girls also playing. Though I didn’t like boys very much… they had cooties. My face screwed up as I saw a boy put a Barbie doll in his mouth. Mummy had taught me not to eat toys. Told me they could carry germs if I put them in my mouth. I don’t like getting ill it makes me feel very bad and icky.
“My name is Mrs. Magnus. Go and play with the other children and we shall begin lesson soon. You can put your lunch box over there.” Mrs. Magnus pointed to a table where I saw many other boxes.
I walked over to it and looked at all the boxes. There wasn’t any room for my box. I huffed and folded my arms with an angry face. I heard a giggle to my left and looked to see a girl my age with orange hair and blue eyes.
“Hi. I’m Rosemarie. I’ll hide your lunch box with mine if you want?” Rosemarie asked as I turned to her.
“I’m Precious.” I smiled, Rosemarie taken my box and placed it with hers hidden behind a desk. She turned back towards me and put her finger to her lips and made a ‘Shh’ noise. I copied her and we both giggled and went to play together for the rest of the day.
Rosemarie was a fun girl and we became the bestest of friends very quickly. She was like another sister to me and we giggled and played games with each other all day. And if anybody else tried to join in we moved away cos we just wanted it to be us two… nobody else.

I ran out of the school with my empty lunch box and smiled at my mother when she reached down and hugged me dearly.
“Oh, sweetie. How was your first day of school? Were the other children nice? Did you make any new friends?” My Mummy asked as she smiled at me. I nodded with a big smile.
“I have a best friend. Her name is Rosemarie.” I spoke and looked back as Rosemarie was standing at the gate waiting for her parents. I waved at Rosemarie as she gave me a small wave with a smile. Though she didn’t look happy. Rosemarie looked scared. I frowned slightly, though as I looked back up at my mum she kissed my head.
“Maybe you could invite her around for a sleep over in the future?” My Mummy spoke. A bigger smile appeared on my face.
“Can I?” I beamed, as my mother nodded I grinned. “Bye Rosie. See you tomorrow.” I called as I did Rosemarie grinned at me and waved.
Though I was still worried for Rosemarie… she didn’t look too happy while waiting for her Mummy.
But Rosemarie and me made a promise to stay friends forever.
