What The Water Gave Me
Chapter 1
I was alone. All alone. For 2 whole years.
But then one week last year, changed my life and turned everything around.
It was sometime in September. Cold but sunny.
I was lying in the grass in a park outlined by a busy street. Just because I was alone didn't mean I was free to do what I wanted.
For a situation so pessimistic, I decided I would make the best of it.
Suddenly I sat up and looked around. It seemed only 5 minuets ago a bunch of people were there.
I stood up and turned around. there was a crowd gathering around. I was tempted to go see what all the fuss was, but I decided not to.
Later on, the crowd faded away.
Then there was only one person standing there. I heard them walk towards me.
I quickly shot up and turned around.
"Do you need something?" I asked frustrated.
He looked at me once and backed off a little.
"Do you even know who I am?" He asked glaring at me.
"No, and I don't care. Go away." I replied trying to ignore him.
He looked at me for a while.
"I said go away, now go. away." I yelled.
He sighed and turned away from me. He looked at the ground for awhile.
Once he turned around he said; "You don't have anywhere to live do you?"
I was shocked, but I calmed down.
"Y-yeah. But that isn't you're problem." I said.
He turned his head away from me and handed me a card. I backed off.
"I don't like being handed things." I said impolitely.
So he dropped it at my feet and walked away.
Once he was gone my curiosity got the best of me and I picked up the card. It read:
Tony Stark
Engineer
above the word engineer something was crossed out, but I could make it out.
CEO of Stark Industries
I looked up and looked around, and to my left was a huge tower reading:
STARK
