Ever since she was born Cali was choose to work as a SHIELD agent her parents being SHIELD agents as well. Being born Emilie Cali Swiss her parents knew she was going to be an agent. Till on her second birthday her parents went on a mission but promise to be back on for her party. Though they never did a they we killed by a villain they where trying to catch. After that SHIELD took in young Cali as their own to train her to be the best agent she could. On her third birthday that is when Cali showed her powers Cali had the ability to fly go invisible control things or move them with her mind, an through balls of pure energy. Yes she was a catch she was taught to control her powers by a mentor. Who in turned loved the girl as his own an Cali felt the same way.

Though being in SHIELD for half of of her life didn't mean she was an outsider to the world. She went to public school with other children her own age. Yes she had to promise her uncle Nathan not to use her powers at school or she will be home school in SHIELD that scared her so she never showed her powers in school. Cali at the age of ten was already trained and skilled at hand to hand combat and weapons. "In six years she will be able to moved to New York?" Agent Hill asked she was monitoring the young girl. Cali was fighting with an agent hand to hand combat she was good. Soon the agent pulled out a gun now Hill watched closely he took aim and shot. Cali's eyes glow white an soon a white barrier came up the bullet deflected. Hill was impress this being a belief "Cali dear that is enough," her mentor Nathan said. Cali stopped she ran to him and hugged him "Uncle Nathan! Are you here to take me for our walk over golden gate?! I brought my camera!" the man smiled and nodded.

After she was dressed in warm clothing since it is always foggy and cold Nathan not wanting his goddaughter to catch a cold. Cali was taking pictures of the bridge has walked on for all her life it was a routine for her and her uncle. She liked it these where the only times she enjoyed spending time with her uncle "Do you want to get ice cream after you are done?" her uncle asked. With one last click she nodded they began their walk after ice cream they went to more place in San Francisco that where popular to take more pictures.

This routine forever became a tradition for the two. "Uncle! I am not a child anymore!" "Yes you are! You are my child Emilie Cali Swiss!" on the day before Cali birthday her uncle told her the news that she was be relocated to New York. "I am not going to New York! I am staying here! I grew up here I will be alone over there!" Cali said it has been six years now and tomorrow will be Cali sixteen birthday. An her uncle just told her the news she was going to be relocated to the east coast. "I'm not going I am staying here!" she yelled and slammed the door to her room. Nathan let out a heavy sigh "Ah the joys of teenage years," Nathan turned around and saw Anthony his best friend since childhood. Nathan nodded "I remember when she listen to me and thought of me as those superheros like superman or green lantern," Nathan said Anthony walked over to him.

He wrapped his right arm around Nathan's shoulders "She is a city girl but not a big city girl." "That is why I moved us to country side I thought she might like it." Cali did like the country side she loved it. She could have all the farm animals she wants.

Two hours after the ordeal it was dinner time in the Swiss and Gubsin house hold. "Can you get Cali Anthony?" the other man nodded he stopped cutting fruit for a fruit salad. He wiped his hands on a kitchen towel and left for Cali's room. "Hey squirt! Dinner time your uncle made your favorite!" he called. No respond he knocked again nothing he opened the door she wasn't inside her room.
