Cali was out side ride her painted horse Buckster he had black spots on his white coat. She was sitting in a tree looking over the 27 acres her and Nathan owned. "I can't believe it Buckster," Buckster whinny the painted horse was mad too "Do you think I can get uncle Nathan to let you come with me?" she asked he whinny she chuckled. The sun was setting which meant for her to go home she climbed on Buckster. There was a howl in the distance "The coyotes must be out tonight we need to get home," she said. Before that there was another howl this time close by startling her "L-lets get home Buckster," he whinny.

"Where is that girl!?" "I knew you should of placed a tracker on her when she was three! But noooooo Mr. I want her to feel like a normal girl an not feel like she is being watched twenty four seven," Anthony said. Nathan eyes glowed a bright white he was glaring at Anthony "Shut up and help me find my goddaughter!" he said. Cali was on Buckster riding back in full force the howling stopped something jumped from the shadows. Cali was thrown off she fell to the ground with a thud "Buckster!" she yelled she got up quickly. Buckster ran off "Buckster!" she yelled nothing there was growling she turned to her left and saw the wolf. It was bigger then any normal sized wolf she has ever seen. "Mutant animals," Cali whispered she stood up she knew about this animals. Her uncle said that the army way back then there where not only testing on human but on animals too. Some how some of the animals broke free and where never seen again. 'You aren't afraid of me?' Cali heard someone "I am going crazy now that is great!" Cali said. 'No you are not I am talking to you right in front of you' Cali turned her head and saw that the wolf.

"Are you taking to me?" she asked the wolf nodded "Why did you attack me and my horse!?" she asked she was standing now. 'Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you I wanted to eat well........your horse' Cali looked at the wolf she hit him on the head. "That is Buckster and no one hurts him," 'I am sorry I am hungry' "Well-" her stomach growled she was hungry too."Come on I will get you something to eat," she said the wolf wagged his tail happily. "So how are you talking to me?" Cali asked the wolf 'Telepathic it's one of my powers I can talk to anyone with it' Cali nodded it was dark. She was using her energy ball as a flash light "What is your other power?" she asked him 'I can change my size. What about you I sense you have some powers too,' "I have many I only use them in training not in public because the humans will freak out...." she said she remembered when her uncle needed to use his power to save her.
Flash back
She was six it was a sunny day and they where on there walk on the bridge. "Cali how is your ice cream?" "Great uncle!" she said. She was in a blue dress with white lacing on the bottom she wore white sandals. Her hair dark brown hair was in curls on the bottom "After we can go see a movie then tomorrow its training day," he said she nodded. Soon there was alarms and cars moving out of the way it was a police chase. They where after a robber soon the robbers car lost control and it rammed into the side walk. The car hit where Cali was sending her over the other side "Emilie!" her uncle jumped over the railing to get her. She was injured she was falling she could hear people screaming and yelling. She thought she was going to die till she felt some catch her. "U-uncle?" she said in a whisper "Emilie please stay awake for me please dear," she gave a faint giggle. "But u-uncle I am t-tired," she began to close her eyes. Nathan flew her to the closes hospital he knew she could heal only some parts but she can't heal major injures. Like right now her injures great he crashed into the E.R. "Please someone helps!" he yelled nurses and doctors came to take Cali.

"Sir I need to ask you what happen," "We where on the bridge car crashed into the walk path and threw her over an-" "That's a lie you hurt her! Since you mutants do more hurt then help!" a man said some people turned to look at him. The nice nurse ushered him into the E.R room "I know you are telling the truth us mutants need to stay together." the nurse said he nodded.

Cali woke up in a hospital room a nurse was checking up on her. She remember everything she reached out and touched the nurse arm. The nurse jumped back "Don't touch me you monster!" she yelled she ran out her room. Cali was shocked her eyes began to water just being six it hurt her. She began to cry nurses who saw what happen stop the nurse to yell at her. Two nurses rushed in to comfort her "Uncle!" she sobbed "There, there, sweetheart he is coming," "Yes do you like ice cream?" Nathan heard the cries of his goddaughter.

He took off running to her two nurses where with her trying to calm her down. It broke his heart "Uncle!" she cried when she saw him. She ran to him crying "What happen?" he asked the nurses they gave him a sympathy look. "Am I a monster uncle!?" she sobbed. After hours of calming down Cali she fell asleep the two nurses from earlier and a doctor who was a mutant as well where in the doctors office. "I want that nurse fired!" Nathan said the two nurses who were named Cane and Sophia nodded. "She is being dealt with Mr. Gubsin," Dr. Crane said "That women traumatize my goddaughter! She called her a monster because of just a simple touch! Do you know it took me six hours to get her to sleep?! Telling her she isn't a monster explaining to her that she was nothing but a monster?" Nathan said. "Yeah I have a son who is a mutant and he is nothing but that I wanted to slap her," "I agree with Soph I have a niece with powers Carrie had no needs saying that to a child," Cane said.After a long discussion the nurse was relocated to other hospital and Cali was taken home. End of flash back
'I see so human have not come to expect the fact that we are here and stay' the wolf said Cali nodded. "So do you have a name or am I going to call wolf?" 'I have no name' "Well then I am going to give you name an it shall be Azul," she said. The wolf looked at her "I am keeping you but under some rules 1) you don't eat my animals, 2) if you get hungry tell me and I will get you food 3) you must show your powers to my uncle, an 4) trust is a one way street buddy" she said. Azul smiled the big wolf licked her cheek 'I will be your protector Miss Cali' Azul said.
