Kitchen table

The kitchen was the only place that Cali didn't destroy it she was sitting at the table while the Avengers and Phil where standing. Azul was beside her he was the his normal size "Young lady you are in big trouble explain," Phil said his arms where crossed over his chest. He was scary when he did that "Hey I was scared like I said. No minute I was in a Helicarrier the next thing I know I am in a dark room and the door is locked. Now I know you're all smart add that up," she said Azul smacked his tail behind Cali's back hard it caused her to yelp. 'Behave don't be rude,' he said she huffed. "Still gave you no right to blast a door open and almost destroy the common room," Phil said again this time he pitched the bridge of his nose. SHIELD was going to be paying for this and he knew it "Okay I was locked in a room. I was calling out so someone could let me out no one answered me. Now if you guys where in my position what would you guys do? An don't lie I know all you guys would react the same way I did." she said.

All the Avengers knew she was right "Still don't know why you where attacking me," Tony said he was still angry. "When I was young SHIELD us to make me fight with these robots they where a pain to destroy. So from then on every time I saw a robot first I attack it first then ask questions later." Cali was now getting up "Hey where do you think you are going young lady!?" Phil yelled "Exploring," she said leaving the kitchen but before she did everyone saw an apple float toward her. 'I am sorry for her behavior it takes her time to get use to people.' Azul said he took off to follow her. "I told you teens are brats!" Tony said huffing Phil just shook his head "It's like taking care of a younger version of Tony," Phil said everyone chuckled except Tony he was pouting.

Cali was roaming like she said Azul right beside her 'Honestly child why are you being rude these people have agreed to take you in.' he said sounding like a father. She bite her apple she stayed silent "I need to get use to them that's is all you know I was never really a sociable child. I mostly grew up adults and agents never children...Well I did go to public schools but some how all the teachers knew I was a mutant the schools had this thing where they had to 'tell' or 'warn' the parents about any mutants entering the school. My first day at the school all the children and some teachers kept away from me like I was the black plague," Cali said. Azul felt sorry for the girl 'You don't know if these people are different don't be like the other humans. You are different Cali I know you are so please go back apologies to them and get to know them you might like them,' he said. Cali knew he was right she sighed and went back to the kitchen.

Kitchen

Steve and Bruce where in the kitchen they where getting dinner ready. Steve knew how to cook his mother taught him he enjoyed watching her. Bruce liked helping it kept him and the other guy calm "Do you think she is alright?" Steve asked worried about the girl. "I don't know she was really riled up," Bruce said both adults where worried about the girl. "Hello," both men turned around and saw Cali in the door way with Azul. "Hello how are you feeling?" Steve asked her she gave a small smile "Tired, confused, sorry," she said rubbing the back of her head. There was an awkward silent "Do you want to help us make dinner dear?" Steve asked Cali looked up at him. Steve gave her a warm smile and Bruce did too "S-sure! But word of advance I can't cook for the life of me but I can bake!" she said Bruce and Steve welcome her with open arms latterly . Bruce hugs Cali and so did Steve "What are you going to make for desert?" Steve asked Cali was next to him she had an apron on. "Uh macaroons and crapes," she said the ingredients where floating to her. "Cali may I ask are you a mutant?" Steve asked "Yes," she said not looking up to look at him she was scared to look at him. She didn't know if he was going to judge her "Huh I only knew a few mutant I find them no different then us." he said she smiled Bruce nodded too. "Do you have any siblings?" Bruce asked she shook her head no "Only child," she said.

Azul was sleeping under the table while the three cooked Cali was having fun with the two adults she liked their company. "Where is Phil?" she asked them her hair was now in a sloppy bun it worked for her though she was done with her macaroons she was sitting at the table. Dinner was done but someone had to call the others "Cali go get the others please," Steve said. "Okay I think that is a bad idea I think I got on their bad side especially the robot guy. I think he hates me and the other two I am just scared of them," Cali said. "They don't bite sweetheart just go and call them please," Steve said Cali nodded she got up "Oh if Tony says no bring him up with your powers you have permission love," Steve said again. "If you get lost ask Jarvis he will help you," Bruce said. Cali nodded her and Azul left too call the others for dinner.

When Bruce was sure that Cali was far enough gone he turned to look at Steve he was smiling "Well look at you calling her all these cute nicknames you sound like an old grandma," Bruce said Steve blushed. He was taking out the chicken "Well I thought it will help her settle in faster you know," he said Bruce smiled. "You took a liking to her," Bruce said smirking setting the table "No not like that!" Steve yelled Bruce broke out laughing. "I know not like that but as a parental way because in honesty I did too. But she is young why does Fury want her to be an Avenger?" Bruce asked "I just because Shield doesn't have many mutants on there side if you have notice. An having a mutant on our side is a good thing I just in his eyes because Xavier is the one that has the most of the young mutants are at his Academy for mutants or that one place off the west coast of San Francisco," Steve said. "Her file said her parents died during a mission down in South America that's all," Bruce said.

Cali was walking down the hall "Ugh this place is confusing! Do you remember who to ask if we got lost?" Cali asked Azul. He thought for a moment 'Bruce said to ask a man named Jarvis,' he said "Jarvis?" 'At your service miss Cali,' Cali jumped along with Azul. 'I am sorry if I frighten you,' the voice again "Where are you?" Cali said looking around along with Azul 'No where I am the AI of the tower I run everything in the tower,' he said. Cali nodded "Okay can you tell me how to find the others?" she asked 'Ms. Romanoff and Mr.Barton are in the work out room right down the hall to the left side,' Cali went in that direction. She found the door it slid open "Uh hey Steve and Bruce said it was time for dinner," she stepped in only to be through a dagger she block it with her barrier. "Hey!" she yelled "Sorry kid you caught us in our little sprawl they tend to get ugly!" Clint was through to the floor. "Okay," Cali said "We will be there in a few minutes!" Clint yelled he was through again this time to the wall.

Cali left the room "Jarvis are they always like that?" she asked the AI 'Yes,' 'That is a very unique relationship they have,' Azul said. Cali nodded "Yup where is robot man?" Cali asked 'Mr.Stark is in his lab top floor,' Jarvis said. Cali nodded she went to the elevator when they got the floor Jarvis told them how to get there. They where in front of the lab door it slid open she looked inside "Well wow look at all these cool things!" she said she flew inside looking at all the gadgets and technology laying around. She wanted to touch a pair of visor glasses they just went across the eyes they had built on headphones that held the glasses in place. They where white Cali was reaching for them "Hey don't touch those! They are not ready yet!" Cali jumped she turned around and was met by robot man or Tony. He had his arms crossed over his chest "Uh Steve and Bruce said it's time for dinner," Cali said. "Tell them I am not joining," he said and turned around to go back to work on his new project. "They said come eat," she said again she was getting a bit annoyed "Tell them I won't be joining," he said waving his hand telling her to leave. She sighed her eyes began to glow "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Tony yelled he was floating. "Steve gave me permission to use force this is force. You are going to dinner now!" she said. Azul was chuckling Cali made it back to the elevator with Tony still in the air she created a barrier around him so she won't hear him yelling at her.

Kitchen

Everyone was at the dinner table "So what do you guys think about Cali?" Steve asked he want to know if his team will be alright with Cali being with them for some time. "Eh I still don't know how she is but I am fine with her stay. It would be nice to pollut a young mind with tricks and other stuff," Clint said. "The child need to control her power it gave her no right to use them on us." Natasha said "Hi," Cali said the Avengers turned to look at her she was standing under the door way. "Where is Tony?" Steve asked a giant bubble came floating into the room and inside the bubble was mad Tony yelling. Clint broke out laughing 'Cali let him out,' Azul said she sighed the bubble popped and Tony fell. "WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT! I WILL END YOU!" Tony yelled he charged after her Cali ran to the safety of Bruce. "Tony she is young you can't hurt her," Bruce said Cali took a seat between Bruce and Steve. Cali was snickering "You little brat watch I will get you back!" He said he took his seat next to Natasha. Thus will being the odd families journey.
