Chapter 2
Chapter 2: Joseph Skylar Smith/ Steve Rogers
Joseph Skylar Smith was born March 10, 2003 he was a small boy who had health problems when he was little baby he was a delicate child. As he grew his problems got worst he had asthma he was weak looking all the kids didn't want to play with him. His mother said that those kids don't see how special he is when his mother left for work and and the babysitter came he would run upstairs get his baseball and glove and run outside to his back yard. "Steve!" he would call out soon a man with gold short blond hair that was comb in a cow lick showed. His wings where a pure white his eyes were like the ocean "You are back from school early" Steve said Joseph smiled. "I wanted to play catch with you," he said Steve smiled. He adored the kid since he was a baby and was place under his care. Joseph remind Steve of himself when he was young "Are Peggy and you mom gone?" Steve asked him Joseph nodded. "Yup! May is here she is watching TV like always," Joseph said he through the ball and Steve caught it. "How was school?" he asked throwing that ball back at Joseph "I got an A on my history test thanks to you! Also we might be getting a new student in two weeks!" he said Steve smiled. "Are you going to make friends with him?" Steve asked Joseph nodded. "He is going to be sitting next to me!" Steve smiled. He knew Joseph had problems of making friends Steve saw the other angels of different children knew that Joseph was weak. The other angels tried to tell their child to be friends with him but their children would tell them he is weak.
"I hope their different," Joseph said Steve nodded when night came Peggy and Joseph's mother came back from work. "How was he?" Peggy asked him flying into Joseph's room. Peggy was Steve's best friend now after Bucky left them. When Steve came to be Joseph's guardian he didn't know he would be friends with two other guardians. Peggy was a young but strong woman she took her job seriously but she did know how to have fun. Bucky was Joseph's father's angel him and Steve became very close friends. Joseph's father was an army man and Bucky was always here for a few months then gone. Though those few months where the most fun Steve, Bucky, and Joseph had they where the most precious memories Joseph had. A year before Joseph's 4 birthday Joseph's mother got a letter in the mail at the time Joseph didn't know what was going on. His mother read the letter and began to cry Joseph ran to her she saw her son and hugged him "Baby....Daddy, daddy....Isn't gone..." she said Joseph didn't know what to say.
Peggy and Steve's mortals fell asleep in the same room "Bucky is gone...." Steve said tears welding up in his eyes Peggy flew too him. Peggy knew this day would come she didn't know it would come so fast. For months the small family grieved over their lost Joseph became distance and wanted nothing more then to stay in his room. Those where the hard days now Joseph and Steve where close together since Steve was the only male figure Joseph had.
Skylar Martin Austin/Tony
Skylar was born into a family with wealth he had everything he could wish for. His parents spoiled him but only because they didn't have time for him. Though Skylar was never fully alone he had his nanny Miss MaCoy she was like other to him when the real one wasn't there. She looked after him liker her own son Miss MaCoy own son looked at Skylar as his own little brother! Tony was the kid's guardian "Pepper the kid doesn't even listen to me!" Tony whined "Tony he can't see you anymore," Pepper sighed it was like talking to a four year old. "When he was young he would listen to me he would call me Ton! Now that he is 20 he is a brat!" Tony said. "Tony all you can do is keep him safe," she told him "I can't even do that! This kid drinks and sometimes does drug! I am at my whits ends I am thinking of going back up to heaven and watch the punk from up there!" Tony said ever since Skylar stopped seeing Tony his bad strike began to show. When he was young he became a smartass in school ditch some classes hung out with the wrong people got in trouble a lot. It worried Pepper and Miss MaCoy to no end wondering where the boy was. It was just her to worry about the boy since his parents where never home.
"You can't do that Tony," "Watch me!," he said about to spared his wings and fly back to heaven "You aren't my mother why should I listen to you!?" Pepper and Tony turned around. Skylar was yelling at Miss MaCoy "You might not be my son by blood but damn it I watched you as my own! Raised you as my own! You are my son if you like it our not!" she yelled back Skylar ran out the room made Tony followed him "Watch him Tony!" Pepper yelled out. Tony nodded Skylar was prone to get angry when he is drunk or when his parents leave him. Right now he got a call from his parents telling him they where going to be in New Zealand for another year. Skylar graved the Porshe 918 keys hopped in and drove off. Tony was flying up in the air keeping an eye on his kid the kid drove and drove for miles till he came to a city 40 miles from his house he parked his car in front of a cafe/bakery. Few people where there then again it was closing time soon he walked into the shop. "Howdy how may I help you?" a blond haired woman asked him she was around his age he smirked. Tony saw that Skylar was going to play his playboy card. "Yeah I need a table also an black coffee doll face," he said he gave the girl his best smile. The woman's face went red she nodded and showed him to his table and left to get his coffee.
"Ugh if you are going to have sex with her in the car I am going to stay in here," Tony mumble like anyone could hear him. The young woman came back with his black coffee her number was written on a napkin. Skylar smirked "Works every time," he said Skylar didn't know how long he was at the cafe till someone taped him on the shoulder. "Hey it's closing time," Skylar looked up and was met by another young women she had dark brown long wavy hair her eyes where brown as well. She was pretty compared to the blond earlier "Oh sorry," he said "No problem," she said Skylar gave her his play boy smile. "So after you are done closing the shop what do you say you and me get some drinks?" he asked her. "I will kill you if you touch her you stupid mortal," Tony heard someone say he looked around the cafe and saw it was empty and the only two mortals their was his and the young woman. Then Tony saw him the woman's guardian he had pitch black slick back hair and vibrate green eyes his wings where black. "I'm sorry I don't talk to stranges," the woman said she left to sweep up the shop Skylar smirk "Come on sweetcheeks just one drink!" Tony could sense the other guardian was getting protective and if Tony didn't get Skylar out the other guardian with attack him.
"Easy there reindeer games we mean no harm he is just-" "Trying to sleep with my child," the guardian said. Tony knew that was true the other guardian turned to his mortal shielding her with his wings. Like Skylar could see the other guardian but Tony knew he couldn't.
