Yet another close call!

Fury didn’t seem to happy this morning when we returned without Fang, but when we told him about her ability to fly, that did seem to spark his interest, and he was sending us back out to go find her, again.
“Hey, Nat…”

“Mhmm…”

“Is it just me or does this Fang girl look strangely familiar to you…” She thought for a moment.

“Now that I think about it…she does seem familiar…Where have we seen her before…?” She asked me.

“I don’t know, but all of us have seen her…she didn’t seem that evil, and to be honest, she doesn’t look that evil either…” I added absentmindedly.

“I know, but you can’t just judge people on how they appear, you know Clint…”

“Yeah, I know…but…something…just doesn’t…feel……right about all this…”

“Well, we’re going to catch this girl, and then we’ll figure this out alright?”

“Yeah, I guess so…” ***Max’s Point of View***

I woke up the next morning, a bit shaken, by the close call I had yesterday. When I heard the voice shout, it sounded familiar. I ignored that fact, and I looked out the window, it was a pretty cloudy day, and I had another job to do. I got dressed, and I took off. I took the list out of my jacket, as I was flying through the air. Time to get to work. I pressed my ear piece.

“Rachel, can you read me the information on Dr. Robyn Brown?”

“Yes, Miss Blair…one moment please…” There were a few short minutes of silence before I heard her voice again.

“Dr. Robyn Charlie Brown, widowed, husband was murdered, no children, age 37, known very highly for her work in chemistry. She usually stays to herself, and tries not to attract any attention to her. She also tends to live a quiet life at home…” I smirked.

“Perfect. Can you send the coordinates to her home to my phone, please?”

“Of course Miss Blair, half a moment…” I smiled.

“Thank you Rachel…”

“My pleasure, is that all?”

“There is one more thing…does she have any plans at the moment?” I asked her.

“She is attending a cocktail party tonight…before that, no other plans. Will that be all?”

“Yes. Thank you so much, Rachel…”

“Of course Miss Blair…” My ear piece went silent, and I pulled out my phone, and I followed the directions that Rachel had sent me. I landed silently on the roof next door, and I zoomed in on the scene. I waited, as soon as I can see her; I make my move…… ***Clint’s Point of View***
We were slowly cruising around in the jet, when I noticed something on a building in the distance.

“That’s her, Nat. I’m going to get down there, and I’m going to use the rooftops to make my way over to her. You go find somewhere to land the jet, and come meet me…”

She nodded, and she hovered over a building. I hopped out of the jet, and I watched her fly away. I began to leaping over the rooftops.

*Just so you know, it can be very exhausting…But it’s part of my work, so it has to be done…*

A few minutes later, I finally managed to reach the building she was on. I tried to be as silent as possible when I landed behind her. Obviously, I was either too loud, or she has insanely incredible hearing. She whipped around, with her loaded bow pointed towards me.

“Who are you?” She snarled at me. I tried to be as calm, and as reasonable as I could be.

“Saoirse…” I said, calmly. Her glare deepened.

“Okay…Fang…I’m here to help you…”

“You honestly think that I’m going to believe you? Look, I can kill you in more than 50 ways; you might to be very careful on what you say to me…” She said, threateningly From the glare in her eyes, I knew she was serious.

“All I want to do is talk to you…” She looked back regretfully at the window of the next building, and she sighed, in what I thought was defeat.

“Alright, let me just get my things…” She walked over to her bag, and she bent down, but before I realized what she was doing, she threw a dart through a window, and I saw hit a woman. I snatched up my bow, and I laced an arrow on it. I aimed it towards her, she gave me a look of alarm, and her eyes saddened. I almost relented, and then I remembered why this was happening.

I shot at her, and it nicked her on the arm. Instead of blood pouring out of her arm, oil……leaked from her arm. She gave me a deadly glare, and the next thing I saw the wound I gave her, disappeared!? It disappeared, like her skin stretched over it. She opened out her wings, and with one giant jump, she was in the air. I laced another arrow, and I shot it at her, I narrowly missed the tip of her wing. She was now out of shooting range, and before I turned to walk away, I saw something floating down towards me. It was a long black feather, which must've come from her wing. When I touched it, it turned into ash. So if a human touches a feather from her wings, it turns to ash. So no one can track her. I have to admit that is pretty clever, but why? I also noticed that she kept her eyes covered, because she knew if someone saw her eyes, they could figure out who she was.

Who was she? ***Max’s Point of View***
Holy shit! I almost got caught by Clint! Shit! Imagine if Tony finds out! He can never know! But he has to know! I have to tell him! But he never saw my eyes, only my nose, and mouth. There’s no way that someone could track someone down just by their nose and their mouth. I did keep my voice very slow, and deep! I noticed that he resisted on shooting me the first time, and when he did shoot me, he noticed that I leaked oil out of my wound! Shit! Wait a minute! If Clint is here, it means……I got on S.H.I.E.L.D’S radar! Crap! That was what I have been avoiding for months now! I have to tell Tony! I just hope that he just isn’t mad at me…
