Young Vengeance
Chapter 7-
"Guess who got invited to the governors ball this weekend." Grayson said walking into Rachel's office were the others were sitting. Rachel was at her desk typing on her computer. "No madder what you say she's been writing that report all day and wont turn away from the computer." Luke said. "The Governors ball!" She screamed. "I stand corrected." Luke said. Carter was pulled up by Rachel as they started dancing around her white office. "So your excited." Brian told her when she finally sat down. "Its an opportunity to dress like a princess." She said. "You don't seem like a princess type." Luke said. "Tall, skinny, blond how could you not want to princess." Grayson joked handing out the gold envelopes. "Shut up, tell Fury im leaving early the parties tonight and I gotta go buy a dress." She said getting up from her chair. She packed her bags and put on her beige coat. "Talk about spy." Luke said referring to the get up. "Whatever Stark." She said putting on sunglasses and pulling out her car keys.
She was in her apartment getting ready, she curled her hair and put on her makeup. She put on her long red dress with a long train. It had a long V-neck and a slit. She then drove to the ball room and walked out to the freezing cold new York weather. "You look cold." A male voice said. "Luke!" She said. He wore a black tux with a black skinny tie. "Why don't we go outside." Another voice said. "Rohan." She said. Rohan linked arms with her as did Luke and they walked in together. "Miss Romanoff would you mind putting your purse on the belt." The security guard asked. She pulled out a identification card. "Go on right thrus miss." He said. The scanners went off but the security ignored them. "How did you do that?" Rohan asked. "Shield ID, It gets me into events with my gun or in this case my lipstick." She said pulling out the metal tube. "I still cant believe I'm here." She said looking around at the decorated ball room. "Rohan I need to go see some people, take care of her." Luke said. He was done trying to compete with Rohan, it didn't help that the Governors daughter was totally into him.
Rohan and Rachel were dancing while the boys sat at there table. "He broke her. Dresses, jewels, parties. Worst of all lip stick." Grayson said. "She used to be the unbreakable spy. Who let her fall in love." Carter added. "The girl has lived her life independent and alone. Let her have this thing with Rohan." Brian said. "It cant last forever, they are the definition of long distance." Grayson said. "I wouldn't count on it, mr. perfect over there is staying." Luke said sitting down with the boys. The four sat side by side with each a glass in there hands, they all took a sip of water at the same time at went back to giving Rohan dirty looks.
