Young Vengeance
Chapter 9-
"There dead Grayson, there's nothing you can do about it." Luke screamed at his partner. Rohan held Grayson back until he fell to his feet in tears. "Grayson..." Rachel said slowly approaching him. Everyone in the lobby was watching the scene unfolded. "Why?" He said hugging her. "I know it hurts." She said crying as well. By the end it was a giant group hug of tears. "What did we ever do to deserve this." Carter asked. "You became the Avengers." Fury said walking by. "How do we get out of it." Brian asked. "You don't or you die." He replied walking out of the building. "Looks like were stuck here." Rohan said. "Could be worst my brother." Carter said. After a year of searching the Avengers were never found. All hope for the worlds greatest heroes was lost.
The next day the group would do a press conference revealing the monument on Elis Island.
"Good afternoon, I am Luke Stark CEO of Stark industries. Today I and my friends will be un-raveling the monument to honor are fallen heroes, the Avengers. Today is not a day to grieve but a day to remember what they have done for this city, this country, more importantly this world and others surrounding it. They put there lives on the line to saves ours and for that we are forever grateful. The battle is not lost because we have lost soldiers. No madder how small the chances might be heroes will rise above crime, because as long as one person believes there will always be a reason to fight. I am Iron Man, we are the Avengers because we believe this legacy is worth fighting for. Thank you." He said as the monument was unveiled. "You think after all these years it would get easier." He said walking thru the crowds of reporters.
It wasn't easy being the avengers but the mansion had its perks. Swimming pool, hot tub, huge kitchen and dinning room. Moving in would be easy for the team, all though with Rohan here Carter couldn't help but feel home sick. Rohan told stories of Asgard, not to mention the jewels he gave Rachel. Carter knew one day shed have to crown upon her head and a white ring around her figure. None of the less it made him feel home sick. "Rohan and I will be leaving for Asgard now, good day fellow warriors." Carter said. "Rohan you cant just leave." Rachel protested. "I have to, my brother needs me." Rohan said kissing her forehead. "Well be back for Christmas I promise!" Rohan said before disapeaing in the magical smoke.
