Jingle Bells, Fury Smells...

Steve reached groggily over to Tony, frowning when he could not feel his lover. His eyes flickered open and his frown deepened. Tony was never awake before 6am. He got up, wrapping a dressing gown around himself and heading out into the Tower to look for Tony.

Upon walking into the kitchen, Steve felt anger bubbling inside of him when he saw the four empty whiskey bottles lined up on the side. Had he gone on a drinking binge again? He stormed around, checking every room to find him. Finding the workshop empty was a shock; Tony was normally always in here. A piece of paper on the desk caught his attention and he headed over, picking it up. Steve could barely read his lover's normally neat handwriting.

'Roof. 6.05am.'

Steve rolled his eyes. Always demanding, even when he was drunk out of his mind. Steve sighed softly and slowly made his way up to the roof. It was 6am already.

When Steve hit the staircase to head to the roof, he could hear Tony singing Christmas carols.

"Jingle bells, F-F-Fury smells."

Steve rolled his eyes again and slowly opened the door. He could see Tony dancing around drunkenly and a small chuckled escaped his lips.

"Hey Sparky. You wanted me?"

Tony turned around and grinned at Steve.

"Cappy boy you came!"

He threw his arms around Steve before stumbling to a box.

"I-I made y-you a Christmas present.."

"Christmas was five months ago, Tony."

"N-No! It's today..."

He pulled Steve's Captain America hood out of the box with a Santa's hat stitched to the top. He handed it out to Steve.

"I made it Christmassy!"

Steve couldn't help but laugh. The things Tony did.

"A-And there's another."

"Oh?"

From the box, Tony pulled out Steve's shield, Christmas lights stuck to it, quite badly. Steve gently took it from Tony, wanting to feel angry but ending up laughing hard.

"Merry Christmas, S-Steve."

"Merry Christmas, Tony."
