Rescue Me
Summary
Cathleen McAllister , Cate for short, had great dreams growing up. She was going to do great things and make her parents proud. Yet love and life had other plans for her. Now she was stuck in DC alone and miserable, yet the pride that she used as her weapon wouldn't allow her to return home. There was one good thing about this new life of her's of course; she did happen to work at Captain America's favorite diner.
A/N: So I am not really sure where this is going and it is probably not going to be any major dramatic masterpiece but I really wanted to write and this is all I could come up with. Yes I know that summary sucks and the title is even worse. If I get hit with a wonderful new title I will change it. I hope this is at least an enjoyable read!

Cathleen 'Cate' McAllister
Head strong and stubborn she comes from a middle class Texas family. She had two older brothers that seemingly have the perfect life and old fashion parents that haven't forgiven her for running off to DC. She had dreams growing up of working for the Smithsonian once she was finished with college yet she let love get in the way of those dreams. Now she is trying to pick up the pieces of her life by herself.
Rebecca Collins Rhyes
Daughter of Senator Collins she snaked Johnathon away from Cate. She is the reason his career has taken off and even though he has not spoken to Cate since the break up she still has jealous hatred of her.
Ryder Rhyes
Cate's ex-boyfriend. He is the reason she left all her dreams behind. He had his own dreams of breaking into the political game and working his way up the ladder. Months after arriving at DC he met the daughter of Senator Collins and left Cate to her own devices. His dreams have taken off and he gives no second thought to Cate.
