The Familiar Taste of Poison
Summary
By far the scariest thing I have ever been through, since I had been trained as a spy for S.H.I.E.L.D., was having my mind taken over by Loki. The Tesseract had been acting up and routinely agents from S.H.I.E.L.D. had been called to project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. where we were holding it. Naturally nobody had any idea that he would show up. From the rumors I’ve heard, he wasn’t even supposed to be alive. But he did show up. He single handedly kicked our asses, stole the Tesseract, kidnapped a few S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, like myself, and destroyed project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. from underground up.
And then he managed to get us into Germany, killing more innocent civilians on the way, and him with a few S.H.I.E.L.D. agents took over and brain washed an entire military base.
But the worst of it, like I said, was when Loki shoved that damn spear at my chest and took over my mind. I had lost everything and everyone I cared about because of my enemy. I was completely and loyally devoted to that megalomaniac. That man- no, that god, the god of deception, was my life for over thirty consecutive hours.
