Cap's side-kick, Liberty

Introduction

It was a normal New York winter night. About two inches of snow was on the ground and I was all alone. Out of nowhere, a man was knocked down into the snow. I hid out of sight behind my home, a cardboard box. The man kept standing up after each time he fell. I had no idea what he was doing until there was another man's voice that sounded like mockery. He swore at the weaker man, taunting him. "Why don't you run, you?! Get out of my sight you good for nothing bastard! Scat, You hear me? You're the asshole that got me kicked out of that God dammed place so answer me bitch!! Why have such a big mouth when you couldn't fight for your life?", he screamed. The smaller man mumbled, "I'm not the one with the big mouth here". He fell to the ground with a bang of his head of the tin trash can. "I can do this all day", he said as he was getting up. "Then we're gonna be here awhile, 'cuz so can I-", the man was cut off. He yelped in pain as he ran, another man taking his spot. "Thanks Bucky, but-", the smaller man started. "Don't even think about pulling that line on me", Bucky said, "You need to come up with some new stuff, Steve". "Fine, I'll work on it. Where are you headed?" Steve asked, gesturing to Bucky's nicer clothes. "Last minute date on the fly" Bucky said proudly, "I'll meet you back at your place". Steve walked away, holding his thumbs up towards Bucky. Bucky stood and shook his head side to side, watching Steve go. Right before he turned, I hit the trash and it almost knocked Bucky over. "well what do we have here?", he asked as he picked me up and took me with him. In his arms I fell asleep. The last thing I remember is the smile on his face as I slowly close my eyes after a long day I the cold.
