Savior- A Tony Stark/ Ironman Love story

Pizza and Picasso

At 7:15 there was a knock on Mack’s apartment door. She opened to find Tony dressed in a back t shirt, blue jeans and black leather jacket. His hair a slight mess with his sunglasses sitting on top of his head and carrying a pizza box.

“I had it flown in from New York.” He said to her as he handed her the box.

“Of course you did.” Mack replied rolling her eyes and stepping out of the way so he could enter. “Make yourself at home.”

Tony looked around the apartment. He noted that it was tiny in comparison to his but tastefully done in a 40’s Parisian deco style. The only thing that stood out was a modernistic painting by Picasso. He looked at closely and noticed it was as original.

“Impressive.”

“That my flea market find. The man who I bought it from has no clue what he had. I bought it for $20 dollars.” She said proudly.

“Got your money’s worth.” He said chuckling. He knew that the painting was worth at least a half a million or so.

“I thought so. I’m going to grab some plates and I have the perfect bottle of wine that will go with this if that sounds good to you. Have a seat or you can pick out a movie. Your choice.” Mack said as she walked into the kitchen.

“What would you like to watch? She heard Tony yell from the other room.

“It doesn’t matter to me. You choose.” She yelled back.

Tony looked thru the selections of DVDs that Mack had. He noticed that she quite a selection. He chose one of his favorites and popped in the player. Mack came back in the room with plates, glasses, a bottle of wine and corkscrew and sat down next to him.

“I’m not sure if you’re a wine drinker, but I think you might like this. It came from my family’s vineyard in France.”

“That must be where you learned to speak French so well. How long has your family owned the vineyard?”

As Mack dishes out the pizza and poured the wine she explained, “All my life. It belonged to my mother’s family. I used to spend my summers there with my grandparents and cousin. We had some good times. I became the rightful owner after my cousin was killed a few years ago. I haven’t been back since. I miss the place. I’m thinking of going back on my next vacation.” Tony could see hurt and regret in her eyes as she talked her about her cousin. Then she changed the subject. “So what movie did you pick?”

“One of my favorites- Casablanca.” He replied with a smirk.

“My, oh my, who knew that the great Tony Stark was a romantic at heart?” Mack joked, getting a chuckle from Tony.

“Shh. You’ll ruin my reputation.” He whispered back joking.

Even though the movie was running, neither of them were watching it. They were enjoying each other company. Tony opened up to Mack, telling her about his life as a child, how is parents death affect him, how much he missed running Stark Enterprises. He talked to her about his relationship with Pepper, Staine, his work with SHIELD, the suit and the demons he was battling. He had never talked to anyone like this, not even Pepper. Mack found herself opening up to him about her life also. About her parents and family, her childhood, the summer she would spend in France, she why she became a doctor, even about her ex-fiancée. In which Tony was surprise to hear about. There was nothing mentioned about a fiancée in files that JARVIS found.

“So what happen between the two of you?” He asked her curiously.

“I broke up with him since we had a difference of opinion.” She replied.

“Difference of opinion?” He questioned.

“On how we value life.” She simply said.

“I see.” Tony watched as Mack adjusted herself to face toward him at a better angle. She propped her elbow on the back on the couch and laid her head on her hand. Mack noticed that Tony had gone quiet and was staring at her. This made her self-conscious, but she was unable to look away when they eyes met.

“Do I have something on my face?” She asked him bringing her hand to her face, But Tony grabbed her hand before she could touch her face.

“No.” He said softly. He then moved a stray lock of hair from her face, startling her. When she looked into his eyes once again, his expression was intense, almost threatening.

For a moment, Mack thought maybe he was upset about something, but before she could ponder it further, he yanked her to him and covered her mouth with his in a hungry kiss. She responded immediately, surprising herself. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than she could have imagined. He tasted tentatively with his tongue, and Mack opened her mouth with a low moan. Tony moved from her mouth to her neck searching for the sensitive area. He smirked when she let out another low moan. He worked on the area for a while sucking and nipping while gently pushing her back so she laying underneath him.

“Tony.” He heard her moan. He loved that way she said his name. He started working down her neck

“Tony.” She said again.

“Tony, Stop.” He lifted his head and looked at her.

“You should go.”

“Right.” He agreed and moved off of her.

Mack walked him the door. “Good night Tony.” She said softly.

Tony brought his face close to Mack and whispered, “I’m not going anywhere tonight Mack.” Then brought his mouth to hers again kissing her hungrily. Before she knew it, Tony picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.
