Life of Alexia Barnes
The news
When I walked into my house after the movie I instantly knew something was wrong. My mom was on the couch holding a letter sobbing and my dad next to her hugging her tightly.
"Mom what's wrong? If it's because i'm 10 minutes late it's because there was a lot of traffic." I said.
All my mom says is"Your brother...your brother..."
"Your brother what mom?What happened to Bucky?" I said yelling
She hands me the letter she was holding in her hand it said:
Dear family of James buchanan Barnes,
It is my sincerest apologies to tell you that James was recently killed in action.Because of your son and many others america is closer to ending this war.

I didn't have time to think I just dropped the letter that dropped the letter that told me my brother was dead and ran to my room and sobbed.

Things will never be the same in the Barnes house. We don't talk unless if we want someone to pass the bread or something.And sometimes we say "hi" and "bye" to each other. I don't go out anymore after school I go home, do homework,and that's it.
When I walked home one day there was a letter addressed to me from Steve. It helped me to know that he was still alive. The letter read:
Dear Alexia,
I know by now you've found out that Bucky has died. I'm so sorry for your loss.It hit me hard especially since I was there when it happened. I want to let you know that the last thing he said was to tell you that he loved you and he's sorry that he broke his promise.I know that you probably know by now that i'm Captain America.And There's a lot of danger with having that role.If anything should happen to me I need you to know that i'll always be with you and so will Bucky. Like Bucky would always say to me "i'm with you till the end of the line".If I do make it home i'll tell you how I became Captain America. Remember to live your life and be happy.

I felt at peace know because of Steve's letter.I'm going to fulfill his promise.I just hope Steve doesn't die like Bucky.
