Look back in Anger

Not so much the dark knight

Later on, in the lounge everyone, or most of us seemed to be congregated just chilling, having a drink, a few laughs. These guys really are sickening, how can they spend their days with the same people over and over again and still have the capacity to actively spend their time with them at the end of the day. I do t get why you'd do that. What's wrong with wanting to be alone. Anyway, like I said, most of us were congregated, apart from the main players, Stark, Thor and America. Widow was next to her lap dog, Barton while her boyfriend the Hulk seemed to be gingerly tip toeing around the edge of everyone, trying not to get too involved. Starfire didn't really know what was going but continued laughing at whatever was being said, she was just happy to be here, I was sat on one of the bar stools, away from everyone else. I dont know why I don't go back to my room but I suppose after a while it gets boring being surrounded by the same four walls, a change of scenery is appreciated.
"what's up, what's up." the other missing three came into the room, Stark leading them as usual and hollering across the room.
"what's up with the dark knight over there? You can sit with us." he called to me and waved his hand.
"I am fine over here thank you." I responded quietly, a few tuts and sighs were exchanged until Thor walked over.
"I do not want to join you, thank you." I said before he even opened his mouth.
"I was not going to convince you, you are far too stubborn for that." he laughed and leaned on the corner.
"what do you want then?" I asked.
" you do not seem glad of my company." he replied, smiling.
"wow, I wonder what gave it away!" I expressed in a monotonous tone.
"heh, if not my company then there is something you could do." he looked at me and paused. I raised my eyebrows and nodded my head to carry him on.
"my brother requests your precence." he finished, not as over joyed as he seemed before.
"finally someone who's on my level. Take me to him." I got up a d stared walking.
"wait!" he shouted, attracting the attention of the others.
"how do you know it's not a trick or one of my brothers sly ways of getting to you." he caught up to me and whispered.
"well, I've never dealt with him before, I'm willing to give him a chance. And besides, he does know that much about me, he doesn't know what makes me tick. I can handle him." I reasoned and carried on walking.

Upon arriving at the holding cell, Loki was wondering aimlessly from one end of the rectangular cell to the other. He came to a halt and turned on his heels to face me and his brother who's not really his brother.
"I see you've brought me a friend." he grinned and walked to the front of the glass cell.
"hi. You can leave us now." I turned and dismissed him.
"I-I'd rather not if.."he started, looking a bit bewildered.
"and I'd rather not be here at all but we don't all get what we want, shoo." I retorted and led him out the room, closing the door behind him.
"you seem to think you can order him around. I'm impressed." Loki smiled.
"I seem to think I can order any of these petty humans around. And I can. "
"that doesn't seem anyway to refer to your team mates." he tutted.
"they're not my team mates. I'm not overly fond of them." I stated rather harshly, staring down the prisoner as he wondered about.
"finally, someone who gets it. So why do you stay with them?" he inquired.
"let's not get into that. Thor told me you wanted to see me. How about we discuss that?" changing the topic.
"you are Raven, or so you claim to be." he said, I was gearing up to do one of my fancy energy tricks, he clicked onto that.
"no no, that wont be necessary. I full believe you are who you say you are." he flinched and started assuring me.
"so, Raven, that would mean your father--"
"oh god." I scoffed.
"pardon?"
"is that why you wanted to see me? Yes my dad is the one with four red eyes and horns and red skin, very very tall. Trigon. Is that it? Can I go now?" I spat, I suddenly lost all interest in Loki now and started walking to the door.
"wait, no!" he shouted after me.
"hurry up and get on with it." I hissed.
"I knew who your father was. What I really wanted to confirm was what he was planning." he rushed out before I walked out the room. I stopped a d turned to him.
"how would you know?" I asked, barely audible.
"I hear things. And if the stories I read as a child are anything to go by." he vaguely explained. I didn't say anything is response to this.
"he would slaughter entire worlds, entire races and civilisations have gone extinct because of him. This world seems fairly untouched." he let on a bit more.
"I'm done" I stated a d left rather abruptly.
"what did he want?" Thor asked, chasing after me as I walked by him.
"nothing really. Just someone to talk to." I lied, yes I know that was a very unconvincing lie.

Notes

Hi, this is still a thing. Did anyone miss me? Anyone at all? I'll probably be back again some time. Thank you.
