Halloween Special - Steve Rogers We were all lounging around the Avengers Pent floor. Most of the group sat around the couches, talking amongst themselves. I was at the food table sitting next to Pietro. No one else was eating the baked goods that Pepper slaved away making. Pietro and I had quickly made our way there hoping we'd get some goods before they ran out. Pietro being a goof started playing with the food, putting some pretzel sticks in his mouth, pretending to be Dracula which made me laugh. Being the nice friend he is, was trying to get me in a good mood which was working. Earlier I had been fine, interacting with everyone, having fun. Until she showed up. For some reason Steve decided to invite this, ex-agent, what was her name? Sharon Carter. Every one seemed to like her, sure she was nice but I just couldn’t help the feeling of wanting to, pull her stupid blonde hair out and kick her out of my home. Dramatic right? Pietro sensed my disliking towards her so that is why we are sitting away from everyone, being complete dorks. As we goofed, I couldn’t help but to glace at the group, noticing her and Steve sit rather close, which made burn hot with jealousy. "Pff, what ever" I mumbled, paying attention to Pietro once again. "Just ignore them, don’t let it ruin all the fun ya, or at least go and talk to him?" Pietro said with his strong accent. I gave him a grunt and grabbed a hand full of popcorn. "You don’t understand, you're always so flirty with every pretty girl you see, you aren't after any one in specific, you don’t feel like I do" I pouted, throwing a popcorn at Pietro who gracefully caught it with his mouth, eating it, which made me smile. "Na-uh, I distinctly remember asking a cute little girl to marry me, and she said yes. Now she's after this, this super hunk" He explained, throwing a popcorn at my face, which I failed to catch in my mouth, hitting me in the eye. "Ouch- Pietro that is completely different. We were kids back then. And don’t forget you almost tried to kill me back in that ship in Africa, punk" I said rubbing my eye. I once again glanced over at Steve, who I caught looking back. I gave him a smile and a wave, to which he smiled back and winked, causing me to blush and turn back to Pietro, praying Steve didn’t notice. "Why does he have to be so cute?!" I gushed, trying my best to whisper so only Pietro can hear, which caused him to laugh. I raised my eye brow at him and looked around the room. "Hey where is your sister?" I asked, trying to look for Wanda. Pietro shrugged and stuffed more food in his mouth. "Probably with that, thing-" "Vision" "Ya what ever" He mumbled. I rolled my eyes. "What the hell are you supposed to be anyways?" I asked, noticing his attire which consisted of dark blue jeans and shirt. "Im Sonic" He grinned which caused me to face palm. "You arent wearing a costume-" "Neither are you" He argued back making me scoff. I stood up and twirled around. "I'll have you know im a Pink Lady. You want a drink?" I asked in reply he simply nodded. I walked over to Tony's bar, casually passing by the group, not 'trying' to eavesdrop. As I made it to the bar, I open the mini fridge to get two beers, as I stood up and turned around, I was greeted by Steve's chest. "Dang it Steve don’t sneak up on me like that" I said, trying not to check him out but failing. He was wearing a navy green, Top Gun Air Force Flight Suit, and hot dayum did he look absolutely sexy in it. I mean great, he looked great. I blush trying to get the thought out of my head. I raised one of the beers to him, offering it and he took it. "Nice costume" I said cooly, not wanting to show my eagerness. He chuckled and opened the beer. "Thank you, and you look quiet lovely in yours" He complemented, taking a chug. "Tell me about it, Stud~" I said while winking, taking the quote from the movie Grease. My response causing him to choke on his drinking, making him cough. I placed my beer on the counter and patted Steve in the back. "Sorry" He mumbled, recollecting himself. "You guys should come join us" Steve said referring to Pietro as well, who was watching us from afar with a stupid grin on his face. I took a quick glance at Sharon who was laughing and sipping on her drink. I turned to grab another beer for Pietro, "Nah we're good." I turned back to look at Steve who had an expression I couldn’t read. "Are you two, ah uh, um-" "Me and Pietro? Steve you know he's my best friend, he's like a super weird dorky annoying brother" I explained, giving Steve a questionable look. "Why'd you ask? I mean I could say the same thing about you and her." I told him and I nodded towards the blonde girls direction. "Me and Sharon? What, no. This was Nat's idea, I mean she's nice and all but. .she isnt you." He whispered the last part, cheeks turning into a reddish tint, which caused me to do so as well. "I should go back." He mumbled, as he turned. "W-wait, do you want to, I dunno, take a walk or something?" I asked, not looking at him as I felt my face burn up. I felt some one grab my hand and I was soon being dragged towards the elevator doors. I can feel Pietro's grin on his face, smug idiot, but he was right. All I needed to do was talk to him.
