Chapter 20
Anna and I sent the girls to there room so Steve could rest. Peter went to lay back down because he had a headache. Anna pulled me aside to talk to me.
"Brenda I was wondering if you needed help with the wedding stuff?" She asked me. I suddenly felt relief food over me because I did need help.
"Yes with the decorations! and I need you to try on your dress to see if it fits and all." I told her.
"Okay, but lets go do something fun and not wedding related. " She said leading me out of the medical ward.
"Ms. Barton, Ms. Parker we have an intruder in the tower." Said Jarvis. Not Again. We immediately went into the living room and saw a tall man that resembled Anna is some weird way.
"Look at you Rabbit, your all grown up." He said.
"Barney?" was Anna's reply to the big shock that just flooded her.
"What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" Clint demanded sounding pissed. I just decided to leave the room and go somewhere else. Not a very happy family reunion like mine. Well mine wasn't a very happy family reunion either. I went to go and play with the girls like I promised them. I was in the middle of a tea party when Steve wheeled into the room.
"Daddy, do you want to join our tea party?" Rosie asked. Steve looked hesitant but caved in for the girls. He needed something to do. We laughed and the girls took turns pushing Steve around the tower, hitting walls as they went. At least they were having fun. After a while Anna took me by the arm and said that she was ready to try on her dress. We went to the bridal shop down the street and she tried on her dress. It fit her, and she was so happy that she said she wanted to wear it back. I told her that she couldn't. The wedding is 7 days away and Steve is in a wheel chair. It will be fine I guess because he is awake. I can't wait to say ' Do'.
