The Unrealistic Love (Cap and Brenda fanfic)
Grounded Part 1
After our little romantic session, I went to a friends house for the night. I had to call my dad and tell him where I was going. I showed up at Peter's house and rang the doorbell. After waiting 2 minutes Aunt May opened the door.
"Mackenzie. How nice to see you. Do come in." She said. I walked into the house.
"Where is Peter and Anna?" I asked.
"Upstairs. Do you need a place to stay tonight?" She asked. I told her that I did. I told her what I told my dad. I had gotten sick at dinner with Harry and that he dropped me off at Peter's so I didn't risk getting anyone over there sick. She took me upstairs to the second guest bedroom because the first one was occupied by Rosie and Rosalinda. I walked in and thanked Aunt May for letting me stay the night. Then I went to bed. I woke up the next morning to the sound of my father yelling. I got up and went straight downstairs.
"What is it dad?" I asked. He just looked at me with hatred.
"I have told you to stay away from that Osborne boy." He told me.
"You can't control who my heart chooses. I am the only one that can control it. He's a really great guy. All we had last night was dinner then he dropped me off here. Nothing else." I told him. He seemed to relax a little. He just flew off leaving me behind. I called Steve and told him to tell Thor that I wanted to stay in a normal house for a while. And to say that Aunt May is happy to have me. He said he would. I then called Harry and asked if he wanted to come over for lunch.
"Of course." He said. I hung up the phone just as Clint walked into the kitchen.
"Hey Mack. Brought you some clothes on behalf of goldilocks." He said. Goldilocks is what they call Thor.
"Thanks." I said taking the bag. Clint must've followed me because he was standing in the doorway when I turned around.
"You must stay here often." He said. I did stay here often. I always knew that Peter was Brenda's brother, but didn't have the heart to tell her.
"Yeah, when times get tough. It's my alternate life, sorta." I explained.
"You know, Thor has been trying to find you the entire time he's been on earth. That's why he came to earth. To find you." He said before walking out of the room. I didn't know what to do right now. And I didn't want to spend my life confined to the tower. I needed to get away. By noon Harry arrived. He saw me and his face flushed a bright pink. Peter saw it and just started laughing.
"What Mack got your tounge?" He said and I couldn't help but laugh. That made Harry's face more pink.
"Alright Peter that's enough." I said. And he stopped. I liked seeing Harry's face pink.
