Chapter 21
Steve's Pov
Today is the day that I am getting married. I have really bad nerves right now and don't know how to control them. I feel like barfing but can't, and Rosie and Rosalinda keep wanting me to go and see Brenda because she looks so pretty. I am so nervous.
"Steve it's time to go to the alter." Tony said. I made Tony one of my grooms men because he keeps everything in order. Peter is my Best Man, and Clint, and Thor are my other grooms men.
"Alright Tony." I said as I followed him out there.
Brenda's Pov
I am literally rushing around trying to get ready. My hair isn't done, Mack is no where to be found, and my dad keeps going up in flames because he is so nervous. How am I going to be ready in time?
"Jarvis where is Mack?" I asked.
"She is on her way now." He said just as she walked in.
"Where have you been?" I ask her. When I see who walks in with her then I know that I can't tell Thor until tomorrow.
"Doesn't matter anymore just get into your dress." I tell her and go get into mine. My wedding dress is a bright purple dress with white lace and pearls stitched in the lace. It cost 22,000 dollars that Tony spent himself because he picked the dress out. After 10 minutes everyone was ready and we were all in place. The music Started and one by one we went down the isle. When the brides music came on I was on the verge of tears because my mom wasn't here. I looked over to my side to grab my bouquet and I saw my mother watching me before she faded away. I walked down the isle and right up to the alter. We decided on a 4th of July theme wedding based on his alter ego. The priest started rambling about the holy spirit staying with us.
"Do you, Steve Alexander Rodgers take Brenda Rose Parker to be your loftily wedded wife?" he asked Steve.
"I Do." I smiled because he said the words.
"And do you Brenda Rose Parker take Steve Alexander Rodgers to be your loftily wedded husband?"
"I Do."
"Then with the power vested in me by the state of New York, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." and with that we sealed the deal.
