Brenda's first battle

After dealing with Tony, I thought I would go and see Peter and Anna. I walked to the living room and saw them on the couch. I walked up and sat down on a recliner.
"Hey, Peter aren't you supposed to be with the girls?" I asked He just looked at me and didn't say anything.
"Aunt May took them to the New York Zoo. They will be back by dinner." He told me. I was glad that they were having fun.
"Hey Anna. I just want to thank you for sticking up for me back there. You will make a good sister in law." I said. She looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. "Peter is terrible at hiding things from people. He eventually told me that you guys were engaged. Congrats." I told them. Peter's face flushed a bright pink. I just sat back and laughed because it looked weird. Anna then punched his arm.
"Ow, would you stop doing that to people." He said. It was Anna who laughed. Anna then leaned over and kissed him.
"I would be happy to break the news to Clint and Barney. Save Peter from a stare down from your Big Brothers." I said.
"Thanks, That would be great." Anna said. I then got up and went to find Clint and Barney. They were still in by Tony. I was about to turn around when someone spoke out.
"Hey it's Rabbits friend." It was Barney. I spun on my heels and walked up to him.
"First off, don't every say that because my name is Brenda. And second, stop being so cheerful. You show up after your sister was taken by Hydra, and all of a sudden you think everything will go back to normal. You have another thing coming. You missed out on most of your sister's life. Not only that, but your mom is in a prison cell aboard an airship for villains. Things will never be the same again." I said. He just looked at me scared and shell shocked.
"Okay Brenda, I think he gets it. What's up?" Clint asked me.
"I am here on behalf of Anna and Peter." That must have caught Tony's attention because he tried sneaking away.
"Tony, stay put." I said. He stopped dead in his tracks.
"What about Anna and Peter?" Clint asked.
"Well Clint..... You and Barney are not only going to have a Brother in law, but I will be your Sister-in-Law." I said. Clint stormed past me, but not fast enough because I tackled him to the ground.
"Get off of me Brenda." He said.
"You might as well stop trying to get me off because you could never take me on in training." That stopped him from struggling.
"Clint you have to promise me that you will not go and hurt Peter. I know you don't like him, but Anna does. She's happy, so you should be too." I said.
"She's right bro. If Anna's happy we should be too." Barney said.
"Fine, but I have a few words to say to Peter." Clint said. I got off of him and took him to Anna and Peter. Anna must've seen us coming because she shot off of the couch and into Peter's lap.
"Anna all I want to do is talk to Peter." Clint said.
"It's ok Anna." Peter said kissing her forehead.
"Peter, if you hurt her, I swear I will hurt you."
"You won't be the only one, Clint. I will have my go at 'em to." Barney interrupted Clint. Oh Boy.
"You will not Hurt him. Peter won't hurt Anna because I see how he treats her. He treats her with respect. He loves her. And I'm happy for him." I said. I looked over and saw Peter standing behind me. He gave me a hug.
"Thanks, Brenda." Was all he said. I cried.
