The silver's tears

Time is irrelevant especially when in times like this one when a few hours feels like ages playing on your nerves and your patience and patience is a virtue neither of them have waiting for Loki to wake up or show any sign of being here with them , Tony kept fidgeting around can't stay still while bucky by Loki's bed holding his hand sometimes and playing with his hair other times ,anything to pass on time and tony didn't miss to notice that after their last heart to heart Bucky became too comfortable around him , dare he says more than he ever been around steve since he came back and he let a smile appear on his face for a second before he decided to have his own heart to heart

"MR Stark" Tony said smirking a little

"huh..what?" Backy said getting out of his thoughts

"that's what he called me when we were alone working or just hanging out ,Mr Stark"

"You kidding" Bucky said laughing

" no one knows about that not even pepper ,he would call me that every time unless there is someone around or we're fighting ,which by the way happened more than I want to admit but you know,he would call me Stark"

"Typical him" bucky smirked

"The first time he called me that we were in the lab working like usual with him getting used to me being around and even trusting me to lend him a hand and all of a sudden I hear that little voice of him calling me instead of just poking me you see back then he wasn't much of a talker too ,and it was my first time to hear him and boy he sounded like a little scared kid" Tony said sitting next to him

"scared? why would you say that?"

"oh,they may forgot to tell you that but since that day he can't talk properly , he stutters when he is put under pressure or when he is worried about something or angry and that was the worst of them cause it would make him more angrier you know"

"Did that happen during a fight between you two before?"

"yes I remember this one very well cause it was our last fight before he .. uh..before he died , I can't forget that one don't think i'll ever will,for the love of me I can't remember what was wrong with him that day but he was acting like a brat and he locked me out of my lab so in my anger I called him bastard"

"You what?" bucky almost yelled at him

"I know , I regretted it right away believe me, I waited for him to get out just to say i'm sorry , the look on his face when he heard me say it still haunts me till this day, the kid has serious daddy issues and I go on calling him that" Tony said nervously rubbing his forehead not keeping an eye contact for the first time
"hey Stark I know you're idiot when it comes to how to deal with people but not with him , the kid loves you and respects you why do you think he was so determined on us figuring our problems out"
"why ? "
"How can someone so smart like you be so stupid ? because he wants his loved ones to get on together he is sick of people fighting, Stark "
Tony just smiled appreciating bucky's words, it has been bothering him since that day they had their and to think it could've been the last words they say to each other, the idea alone makes his heart shutters in pieces

"Loki, can I come in please?, we need to talk" Tony said knocking on his door after making sure no one is there
"I think we talked enough, Stark"
"come on man just open , I didn't mean to say that I swear , i'm an idiot you know that" Tony pleaded him to open the door "Come on kid it's me , you know me"
still no answer Tony started to walk away when he heard the ticking of the door's lock but no loki , it is just an invitation for him to come in ,nothing more Tony walked quickly inside closing the door behind him
"You wanted to talk , talk" Loki said not looking towards him
"You are angry, I got it , you have all the right to be , I'm sorry i'm so sorry I shouldn't have said that" Tony said walking towards him trying to hold him but Loki stepped back
"Sorry? isn't that the truth why should you be s-sorry dammit"
"Loki calm down, remember what we talked about before , just breath in and out slowly , it's just back because you are angry calm yourself down' tony said quickly trying to stop the situation from escalating so badly
"And it is making me weak a-and pa- uhhh " Loki sat down covering his face desperate
"It's just a phase and it doesn't make you less than anyone do you hear me kid" tony stood next to where he is sitting putting a hand around his shoulder comforting him "You will always be the same Loki to us no matter what "
"just leave me alone" loki said quietly and Tony didn't find it in him to argue with that so he left , how much he regretted it now

" i miss him calling me that ,I really do ,but i think I lost my chance with him" Tony sighed covering his face
"don't be silly , you said he was your kid right ,and fighting is a normal part of any relationship don't worry "
"You sound like pepper"Tony smirked
"Well you sound like Loki so "
"Loki is not my only kid" Tony said suddenly , if he is having a heart to heart then he should let it all out
"What do you mean ? do you have kids stark?" bucky asked gabbing
" A kid I met a while ago little younger than Loki but genius like him i'm looking for the day they meet each other they'll kick it off quickly i'm they're both good kids"
"Stark, you are a good man but seriously man two are enough okay don't go on adopting kids like they're stray cats which is true in Loki's case" Bucky laughed
Tony was thinking of a comeback when the door opened and Pepper went in looking nervous something was not right
"they are here, all of them"
"who are you talking about ? the team is here ?"
" yes and they have Thor with them" Pepper said looking worried at Loki
"that won't be good" Tony said leaving the room and they followed him
