Summary
The Asguardians were the first to survive the Titan's Cronos wrath, the other God's perished because of Morana. She brought extinction to the Slavic Pantheon, the Olympic Pantheon among many others. Morana was a mass murderer that was suspected to be dead along with the Slavic gods and goddesses, she was not.
Loki has been ordered by the Allfather to stay on Midguard with the Avengers to atone for his deplorable actions, he must redeem himself to return to Asguard. Nick Fury found Morana frozen in ice a year after Thor's arrival, she never told him about her true identity in fear of Odin. Fury had Morana locked in a secure location when the events of New York took place, after proving her loyalty he talks to her about the Avengers Inititative. All she wants is to begin again but certain things might stop her.
Going by the name Mara, the girl with ice powers who occasionally sparks lightening she begins anew in Avengers struggling to keep her murderous past a secret.

Cronos, Titan of Time
King of the Titanes and the god of time, a destructive, all-devouring force. Lies beneath the earth waiting to be awakened.
Loki, God Of Mischief, Chaos and Lies
Lied and betrayed, only ever wanting to be Thor's equal. Tortured to destroy New York and subdue humans, after a year of detainment he's on the road to redemption.
Morana, The Goddess Of Winter and Death
Only ever wanted to be loved. Brought extinction to the ancient Gods, freezing herself in horror of what she had done and to hide from Odin. Starting anew as Mara, the grief-stricken Sorceress with the Avengers. Deceit comes naturally to her.
Perun, the God of Thunder and Lightning, Justice and Order with power over the Heavens
His family slaughtered by Morana, he watched them multilated and mangled. His grief to strong for the world, banishes himself to the end of the universe and rekindles his thirst for blood. Morana's blood.
Vesna, the Goddess of Spring and Life
Only ever wanted happiness for those around but couldn't help basking in the adoration.
