The True Heir to the Throne
We walk through this desolate planet into a carven in the mountain to get out of the sand storm.
“He's going to unleash it. Not just on Asgard, or on a star. Malekith is going to destroy everything.” Jane said
“How'? Jane, how'?” Thor said
“I saw him on Earth. Why would he go to Earth?” Jane said
“The Convergence.” Thor aid
“Oh, God. None of this would have happened if I hadn't found the Aether.” Jane said
“Then Malekith would've only possessed it that much sooner.” Thor said
“I only found it because I was looking for you.” Jane said
“Jane...” Thor said
“now we’re trapped here.” Jane said
Then I hear music playing. Thor looks to me.
“It's not me.” I said
Jane pulls out her cell phone.
"Hello" Jane said
“Richard? Where are you?” Jane said
“Oh, my God, this is amazing.” Jane said holding her phone up
“How am I getting service here?” Jane said walking around
“No, no, no. Please, whatever you do, do not hang up the phone.” Jane said
“Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just stay on the phone, okay?” Jane said
“On, my God.” Jane said picking up some car keys
“No, no, no. Nothing at all.” Jane said signaling us to walk with her.
We walk through some kind of wormhole and we are back on earth where we first found Jane in England. We run up to her car which has been vandalized. I get in the back seat. Thor in passenger seat and Jane is driving.
“So who’s Richard?” Thor asked Jane
“Really.” Jane said
Jane drives us to her apartment. We walk in. Darcy stands up.
“Jane! You can't just leave like that. The whole world is going crazy. All the stuff we saw is spreading. Did you go to a party'?” Darcy asked about Jane Asgardian clothes.
“Erik?” Jane said
“Jane! How wonderful. Oh! You've been to Asgard.” Erik said standing up without any pants on
“Where are your pants?” Jane asked
“Oh, he, uh... He says it helps him think.” Another guy said
“Okay, well, I'm going to need everything you got on this. All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything.” Jane said
“Okay.” Erik said
“Are you well, Erik'?” Thor asked concerned about Erik’s mental state
Erik laughs
“Your brother's not coming, is he?” Erik asked
“Oh, thank God!” Erik said
Thor and I both make a WTF face at Erik
“I... I meant, I'm so sorry.” Erik said
“Thank you.” Thor said
Erik hugs both of us
"Im glad to have you two back." Erik said walking away
“Malekith is going to fire the Aether at a spot where all the nine worlds are connecting.” Jane said
“Amplifying the weapon's impact. For each additional world, the power will increase exponentially. The effect would be universal.” Erik said
“But the Alignment is only temporary. He must be in exactly the right place at the right time.” I said
“Well, how do we know where that is?” Darcy said
“We follow the directions. This has happened before thousands of years ago, and the Ancients were there to see it. All the great constructions, the Mayans, the Chinese, the Egyptians. They made use of the gravitational effects of the Convergence. And they left us a map. Stonehenge, Snowdon, the Great Orme.” Erik said drawing lines on the map that all lead to one place.
"Greenwich?" The intern said
“The walls between worlds will be almost non-existent. Physics is going to go ballistic. Increases and decreases in gravity, spatial extrusions. The very fabric of reality is going to be torn apart.” Jane said
Thor calls for Mjolnir and grabs it in midair
“I’m going to get my pants.” Erik said realizing how serious the situation is
We drive down to Greenwich library. Jane has these things that she invented to detect these spatial anomalies. She reversed engineered them to now cause anomalies. We are going to use these to distract Malekith.
“Ok, you four hammer those things in the ground. Thor and I will try and hold Malekith off until the convergence is over.” I said
We all agreed. Thor and I wait for Malekith to arrive. Then we see the ground crumbling in the quad.
"He's here" I said
Thor and I jump from the top of the building and land in front of Malelikth.
“You needn't have come so far, Asgardians. Death would've come to you soon enough.” Malekith said
“Not by your hand.” Thor said
Thor and I both get tossed backwards and land on the ground. We stand up and Malekith shoots another blast and we go flying back. Again we get up and he shoots another blast this time I make a lightning rope and hold on to one of the pillars of the library. Thor and I still stand side by side.
“You know with all that power I thought you’d hit harder.” Thor said to Malekith.
Malekith gets ready to shot another blast, but Thor throws Mjolnir at him. Malekith flies across the quad and into the street. Thor flies after him. I am left standing in the quad with about 30 of Malekith’s soldiers. I grab my swords from my back. I am in a fighting stance then all of a sudden the thing Jane built went off and a few of the soldiers just disappeared. I look up at Jane and Erik in the tower. Erik salutes me. I power up. My eyes glow blue. I make a lightning rope and grab one of them and swing then towards me and stab him in the gut. The other soldiers start shooting at me. I hold the dead guy up as a shield. I throw the dead guy at a group of soldiers. I punch the ground and the shock wave sends them flying back. I start to charge at them and run into a portal and I’m back in the dark world where we fought Malekith the first time. I see Thor and Malekith rolling by. I run after them and they fall into a portal and I follow. We fell onto the side of a skyscraper. We are free falling. I make a lightning rope and grab onto the top of the building. I swing to the ground. I see two fighter jet fly by. I run back to the quad. I met up with Jane.
“Shit.” I said looking up
The convergence was in full affect and Malekith was sending the Aether up into the different portals. This was causing a storm of red glass like substance to tear apart the buildings around him. Thor runs up.
“Thor, we’re too late” Jane said
“The convergence is at its peak” Erik said
“Those things can stop him” Thor asked pointing to the thing Jane built
“Yea, but we can’t get close enough.” Jane said
Thor grabbed them out of Erik’s hand and hands some to me.
“But we can.” Thor said
“Oh fuck…” I said
Thor and I trek our way to Malekith threw this storm.
“Malekith!” Thor said
“Darkness returns, Asgardian. Have you come to witness the end of your universe?” Malekith said
“I've come to accept your surrender.” Thor said throwing the thing Jane built at Malekith.
Malekith caught it, but Jane turned it on from her remote. It went off and caused Malekith to lose an hand. I threw one and it stabbed him in the shoulder and caused Malekith to lose his other arm.
“You think you could stop this. The Aether cannot be destroyed.” Malekith said
“But you can.” I said
Thor charges him and stabs him with the last stake and hits him with Mjolnir. At the same time I send lighting towards Malekith. I burst of energy sends me flying out of the storm. I slam into the column at the library. Malekith goes flying out of the storm and into his ship. Jane turns the dial and he disappears. I look up and see the ship falling, about to land on Thor and Jane, but then it goes through a portal.
“Everyone alright.” Erik said
I get up and walk over and sit down in the quad.
“Yay…we did it. Saved the universe. Again. Yep, that’s a broken rib…I’m just gonna lay here and take a nap.” I said
Thor sits up.
“No, we must get back to Asgard.” Thor said
“We can’t take a break. We can go back in a few days” I said trying to give Loki more time to complete his plan.
“No, I need to speak to my Father and we must turn ourselves in. And we need to talk about why you and Loki were talking in the dungeons. I know something is up between you two. The way you two look at each other. You must think I’m a fool.” Thor said
“Ew, isn’t that your uncle.” Darcy said
“Firstly, he’s not my uncle. Secondly, nothing is going on between us. And thirdly, I can explain myself.” I said
“Good, because you’re going to explain yourself to Odin.” Thor said
“Great…I’ll be happy to clear my name” I said sitting up.
Thor and Jane walk away. I walk over to Erik, Darcy and Ian.
“So, space problems?” Darcy said
“Yea.’ I said
“That’s cool” Darcey said
Thor starts to walk over and I meet him in the middle
“Heimdall.” Thor said
The Bifrost opens and Heimdall welcomes us.
“So, I guess since you’re here were not in trouble.” I said to Heimdall
“That’s for the King to decide.” Heimdall said
“Of course.” I said
I walk over to the healers to fix my ribs. I am sitting in my room. A guard walks up to me.
“The All-Father would like to see you in his chambers. He said its urgent.” The guard said
I walk down to Odin’s room. Odin stands on the balcony. He turns around when he hears me.
“You can leave now. I would like to speak to my granddaughter in private.” Odin said
The guards leave and I close the door behind them.
“So where’s Odin.” I said
“Somewhere where we won’t have to worry about him.” Odin said changing in to Loki
“How’d you do it.’ I asked
“I have my tricks.” Loki said
“So Asgard is ours.” I said
“For the time being.” Loki said
I walk up to Loki.
“You know, you’re not so bad after all. I was afraid that I was going to have to kill you, but so far you held up your word.” I said
“I did this for you.” Loki said putting his hand on my cheek
“Usually something like this I would do for myself, but your unlike any creature I’ve met before. Your determination, power, boldness to turn against your Father to get what you want. And not stopping till you have it. Your thirst for power. All of that rage and hate and turmoil all wrapped up in this beautiful outer shell. To be quite honest I never thought I’d met a woman with similar life goals as myself. And I’m quite glad that I did. I always thought I’d be on this journey for power by myself, forever.” Loki said
“Until I met you.” I said finishing his sentence
I go in for the kiss and I’m met half way by Loki. We start kissing passionately. I pull away
“Wait…wait a minute. I have to know for sure that were not related.” I said
Loki turns blue
“I’m all frost giant.” Loki said
I smile. I rip his shirt open and it falls on the floor.
“So you like it rough?” Loki said
“Of course, is there any other way?” I said
Loki unties the back of my dress and it falls off my body. Loki grabs my thighs and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around him. We are kissing and then he slams me against the wall. I let out a moan while he kisses my neck.
“hold on to me.” I said as I made a lightning rope and wrapped it to the top of the bed frame and pulled us onto the bed.
Loki lands on the bed on his back and I land on top of him, straddling him. Loki runs his hand up my stomach, between my beast and grabs my neck.
“Is this rough enough for you?” Loki said
“Rougher.” I said
Loki smiles.

Loki and I lay next to each other. My head on his shoulder.
“I have to know. How do I stand up against Midgardian men.” Loki asked
I laugh
“What now?” I asked
“Well of all the Midgardian women I have slept with, your different. Obviously, Midgard does it different. I’m just curious.” Loki asked
“Obviously, we both did well since we both climaxed multiple times. Of all the Midgardian men I’ve slept with, you beat them all.” I said
“What of the women?” Loki asked
I pause and think
“13th” I said
“13th.” Loki said back
“13th, really?” Loki said
“On Midgard and I’m assuming on Asgard and any where else they have a male and female species, the same rule applies. Men are selfish, egotistical and narcissistic. Midgard especially, men see themselves as kings. Like they’re all powerful. Better than everyone else. Elitist. Did you know women were not allowed to vote until 100 years ago. Ugh. It took every being in my body not to show Midgardian men what true power really was. Now when it comes to sex they only care about their pleasure. Once their done, that’s it. It doesn’t matter if the female has reached her climax. On Midgard women have gotten very good at faking orgasms for their males pleasure and then finishing the job later, by themselves. That’s why on Midgard I turned to women because we know how to pleasure each other. And were really good at it. But maybe now you could teach me some new Asgardian techniques and I could show you some Midgardian ones as well.” I said
“What could Midgardians possibly know that I don’t already?” Loki said
“Have you ever heard of the Karma sutra?” I said
“No” Loki said
“Then you still have much to learn.” I said
“Well, I am an eager student.” Loki said smiling
“In the meantime, we need to figure out what to do about Thor.” Loki said
“He didn’t tell you yet.” I asked
“Tell me what.” Loki said
“He’s forfeiting the throne. He’s going back to Midgard to live with Jane and fight with The Avengers. Supposing everyone lives a long and healthy life, we won’t have to worry about Thor for another 60 years. Supposing you took care of Odin and Thor giving up the throne, technically I am the rightful heir.” I said
“Congratulations my queen.” Loki said
“We will have duel thrones. Side by side. You could keep the gold throne if that’s what you want, but I know what I want. I want this big, beautiful crystal diamond like throne. I want it to look nothing that came before it. I want it to be the most impressive thing anyone has ever seen before.” I said
“And it shall be yours, but first there is something I must ask of you, and I know you will probably not like it.” Loki said
“What” I said
“I need you to go to Midgard with your Father.” Loki said
“No, and I told you he is not my Father.” I said
“I need you to go get my scepter. I can’t do it because Loki is supposed to be dead and I’m supposed to be on the throne as Odin.” Loki said
“No, you can’t just have another one made. Why is this scepter so important?” I said
“It has an infinity stone in it. How do you think I was able to control minds, I’m not a witch. It was the stone.” Loki said
“Why the hell did you not start with ‘hey, I need you to go to Midgard to get an infinity stone.’ It would have been a lot easier.” I said
“So will you retrieve it for me.” Loki said
“I suppose I have too. Under one condition. You get the infinity stone in your scepter. I get the tesseract. And with the power of two infinity stones, we’ll be nearly unstoppable. And I want my throne done, by the time I get back.” I said
I start to get out of bed. Loki grab my arm.
“How about on more for the road.” Loki said
I smile.
“I suppose I could start you in the intermediate level courses. This one is called the leopard.” I said climbing back into bed, laughing.
I get out of bed and so does Loki. We both get dressed. Loki then turns into Odin.
“Oh and Thor wants me to come clean to Odin about visiting you in the dungeons, so be prepared to say something.” I said
“You are the Goddess of Deception can’t you say something.” Loki said
“Thor wont believe a word I say unless Odin backs me up. So make something up. You’re the brains, I’m the brawn. That’s how this whole thing is going to work.” I said
I am walking threw the palace and see Thor walking to the throne.
“So your serious about this?” I asked
“Yes.” Thor said
We are kneeling in front of Loki who is in the form of Odin.
“You once said there would never be a wiser king than me. You were wrong. The Alignment has brought all the realms together. Every one of them saw you offer your life to save them. What can Asgard offer its new king in return'?” Odin said
“My life. Father, I cannot be king of Asgard. I will protect Asgard and all the realms with my last and every breath, but I cannot do so from that chair. Loki, for all his grave imbalance, understood rule as I know I never will. The brutality, the sacrifice... It changes you. I'd rather be a good man than a great king.’ Thor said
“Is this my son I hear, or the woman he loves?” Odin said
“When you speak, do I never hear Mother's voice'? This is not for Jane, Father. She does not know what I came here to say. Now, forbid me to see her, or say she can rule at my side. It changes nothing.” Thor said
“One son who wanted the throne too much, another who will not take it. Is this my legacy?” Odin said
“Loki died with honor. I shall try to live the same. Is that not legacy enough?” Thor said wanting to hand Mjolnir over to Odin
“It belongs to you. If you are worthy of it.” Odin said
“I shall try to be.” Thor said
“And what of my granddaughter?” Odin said
I look up.
“Midgard has always been my home.” I said
Thor looks over to me wanting me to tell Odin I was talking to Loki in the dungeons.
“But, my King, before I leave I must confess. I went against your wishes to speak to Loki in the dungeons. I thought I could help him or that he could help me. I thought I could bring him back to the side of light, maybe I did. I don’t know. I disobeyed you, so I am turning myself over. I am ready for my punishment” I said looking up with a slight smirk
“You are not confessing anything I don’t already know. Frigga told me everything. She told me that she sent you to speak to Loki to bring him back to her. You were under her orders. She thought that with your love and compassion you could heal him. And she wasn’t wrong. You did just that. Before the only reason Loki would have given his life was for himself, but you helped show him that there are many other reason worth dying over.” Odin said
“Thank you sir.” I said
“I cannot give you my blessing, nor can I wish you good fortune.” Odin said
“I know.” Thor said
“If I were proud of the man my son had become, even that, I could not say. It would speak only from my heart. Go, my son.” Odin said
“Thank you, Father.” Thor said getting up and walking away
I stay behind for a few more seconds. And watch Thor walk away. Loki turns back into himself.
“No thank you.” Loki said
“The throne looks good on you and you look good on it.” I said
Loki steps down from the throne. He cups my face
“I wish you could stay” Loki said
I put my hand over his.
“So do I” I said
“Hurry before your Fa… Thor realizes you’re not behind him.” Loki said
I catch up to Thor and we met with Heimdall again.
“Where too?” Heimdall said
“Midgard.” Thor said
