Avengers Assemble!
Chapter 1
"Is it true? Please tell me it’s not true." Nick Fury asked.
I didn't say anything, just looked at the floor. Agent Hill just stared at him; she looked like really wanted the joke to be over too. "No sir, it's true."
"DAMNNIT!" Fury yelled pounding the table that was next to him. I jumped; this whole emotion thing isn't working out for me. Fury looked at me, not muttering an apologize. I wasn't expecting one, but I would like one from him. "Where is this thing heading at, Agent Hill?"
Maria Hill looked at the computer, trying to analyze where 'this thing’ is located. "New York, sir." He doesn't reply to the location. Instead he walks towards the window of the helicarrier. “What do we do sir? Obviously we can’t do this on our own.”
“Well no shit Sherlock,” he snaps, still looking into the window. I also stare into the window. The helicarrier is high in the sky, it’s invisible but everyone on the inside can see perfectly. I loved looking out the window, with the blue skies and white clouds, floating gently. I heard him mumble, “It looks like I have no choice.”
“Um…Mr. Fury? What do you mean you have no choice?” I asked softly. He turned and looked me with a concerned look on his face but it changed in a flash. He started to smile, a sly smile.
“Agent Hill, get the files ready, it’s time that the newest member of the team needs to learn about the Avengers. Her teammates.”
