When we got to the helicopter pad, in New York, I hugged everyone goodbye and Clint was waiting for me by his car.

I stuffed my suitcases in the trunk, and I sat in the passenger seat, and we drove away.

We were halfway through the city, when I realised something.

“Clint……I don’t have a house to go to…” He smirked.

“You do now…” I gave him a look.

“Clint, please don’t tell me that you bought me a house…” He smiled. “You did?! Clint!”

He just laughed. I smacked his arm.

He took one hand of the steering wheel, and held the hand that I smacked him with and held it his own.

“Don’t be like that Maddy, trust me on this okay…?” I relented.

“Fine…” I said my thoughts elsewhere, and I was starting to feel really dizzy and lightheaded.

“You’re considering it, aren’t you?” He asked me.

I didn’t answer him.

“Maddy……?” He asked.










That was the last thing I heard before everything went black…
