What Just Happened?

(Back in Ariana Dimension)
"Honey, time to wake up," Ariana mother's said knocking on her bedroom door. "Ariana, honey wake up," Her mother said again as she opened the door to see everything like it was the day before and her child was not there. Not even the outfit Ariana picked out last night for this day was messed with. Nerves overtook the mother. Where was her daughter? Has she ran away? Was she kidnapped in the middle of the night? She called in Ariana's father. He was ready to go to work, with his gray and light blue tuxedo on and his briefcase in his hand.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Our daughter, she isn't here. I think something may have happened to her," the mother stated worried.
"What do you mean? Didn't she tell us goodnight last night?" he asked as his days were blending together.
"She did, but she's nowhere in here," she said on the verge of tears.
The father picked up the phone and immediately called the cops," Hello, 911 what's your emergency?" a young female asked.
"My wife and I believe our child has been kidnapped or ran away," he said.
"We will have the cops come over to your house shortly sir," she said calmly.
The father hung up the phone and placed it on the table. The sent of his daughter's perfume still lingered in the air. It sent a tear down his cheek as the mother started bawling. They hugged each other until the cops arrived. The father tried hard to stay strong for his wife as he knew they wouldn't be able to live without their daughter if they both broke down.
The cops did what they usually did with lost children, asked for details and the most recent picture of the missing child. Luckily, the picture was only a few weeks ago as it will make it easier for people to notice if Ariana is around them. The mother couldn't stop crying and would often not finish her sentences as it would hurt her inside if she talked about her child. They were acting as if someone had brutally murdered their child inside of her just missing.
When the cops left, it was around noon and the father already called in sick for the next three days. The mother sat on the couch and prayed for a good amount of time that God will let her see her child again. The father though, prayed for different things. He obviously prayed for his daughter to join them again, but he also prayed that his wife will try to live her life and always think of Ariana. What they didn't know though, was that Ariana was having the time of her life being on the Helicarrier.
