Thoughts of a houseplant

Hi! I'm Lilly! No, I'm not a Lilly. I'm actually more of an Ivy. But I've always enjoyed oxymorons. Goodness knows I've witnessed enough of them.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Oh my gosh it's a talking houseplant!" But no. I don't talk. It's more like suggesting. I whisper little ideas in to some people's minds. But only when it's absolutely necessary. You don't think Tony Stark came up with all of those ideas all by himself?! The poor dear. He's an idiot, bless his heart. A smart one, but an idiot no less. If I had more control over my vines, I probably would have smacked him across the face by now.

My current residence is at Stark tower itself. Lovely place, I must admit. Sometimes the people leave a bit to be desired. sometimes that boy brings home the strangest young ladies and I do my best to ignore it, but it's annoying.

You might be a bit curious as to *why* I'm such a strange houseplant. You see, I have this secret thing about me. I can't tell anyone. Not even you. I can't really think about it too hard or so get this nasty shock to my consciousness and I'm not able to spy for a few hours.

oh. That's probably something else you should know. After I have observed a person enough, I can look into their thoughts. If I have regular contact with someone, I can attach part of my consciousness to them. It's like being a fly on a wall, accept for better. I can turn it on and off. That's what I usually do with the Stark boy while he's 'entertaining' his lady visitors. I've seen a lot in my lifetime, but I'll never be desensitized enough to watch that.

So far, I've connected to Stark, Pepper (lovely girl, I'll never know why she puts up with Stark), and JARVIS. JARVIS was a bit of a case, since he's a computer basically. But because he's an artificial intelligence I eventually got through to him. Now, if need be, I can control him as easily as a puppet master controls his puppet. I've gotten Stark out of quite a few scrapes now and then. If I was a psycho maniac, then Stark would be in trouble, because I basically have control over the whole tower as it is.

Well, I keep on hearing things about the 'Avengers Initiative' and It's peaked my curiosity. So I'm going to go find out what's going on through JARVIS. cheerio!

I'm basically going to do a ton of one-shots. They might be related, they might not. Suggestions would be much appreciated as I have really no idea where I'm going to go with this. The idea just popped into my head while I was listening to this song about houseplants. Yeah, pretty random, I know.
