Close your eyes for a ssecond. And now think about who your hero is.Is that person your hero because of the way they act,talk,walk,defend and protect people?
My brother is my hero. He fits the perfect description of a hero.He is protective,kind,nice,loyal,and defends people who are in need of people. He does that almost everyday with his best friend and my not blood related older brother Steve Rogers.My brother is James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes.
He is so brave that he's going to be a soldier 107th. infantry in World War II. He's risking his life to make america a better and safer place and hopefully end this war.
I was mad at first when he told our family that he signed up. I had so many questions. Why him?,They already have so many soldiers out there why add one more to the list?,And then I wondered was it something I did?, Am I that unbearable that he has to get away from me?
Then I realized he's doing this to protect me and my family. That's Bucky for you.The protector of the family.
Two weeks past by. Today was the day Bucky was leaving me and would leave for war. At least I wasn't Steve who Bucky just told him he was leaving yesterday.
My thoughts were interrupted when there was 3 fast knocks outside of my bedroom door.I automatically knew it was Bucky he always had the same knock.
"Come in!" I said.
The door to my bedroom opened and Bucky stepped in.
" Are you ready to see your handsome big brother go to the train station to see him head off to war?"
