Life of Alexia Barnes

Ever since Bucky has left nothing has been the same. The house has been quite and lonely. Bucky was the one in the house who cracked jokes and made everyone laugh. Without him it's just...boring. I was walking home from school one day and Steve ran up to me. When he finally came up to me he was wheezing really badly.
"Steve are you okay?" I said putting my hand on his shoulder while he was trying to catch his breath so he could talk.
"I...I...I made it Alexia" Steve said restlessly.
"Mae what?" I asked curiously.
"I made the army, I leave tomorrow morning!" Steve said excitedly.
"That's great Steve! I knew you could do it if you kept trying!" I said full of excitement."We should celebrate,go to Izzy's dinner get some pie."
"Okay meet you at 6:30 p.m." Steve said

Steve got apple pie and I got chocolate pie.
"So are you excited,nervous,scared,or a bit of all?" I ask.
"Bit of all but I know I can do it I just gotta stay strong and never give up."
"Wow that's good advice.I've been having a hard time with those things lately." I say sadly
"Hey,whenever Bucky would talk about you he always would say how strong you are. In fact he said that you are the strongest girl he's ever meet. And I believe that to."Steve said with praise in his voice.
"Thanks...It's just" I sigh "what am I going to do? First Bucky's gone know you? What am I going to do with my life Steve?"
"Live your life how you want to,date,write to Bucky,finish school,go to college,do what makes you happy." Steve says.
"I don't know what makes me happy" I say
"You will...I know you will" Steve said.
"Well I gotta get going ever since Bucky left my parents protective,the only reason why they let me go was because they knew I would be safe with you. They think of you as their other son."
"Well I like to think of them as my other parents. After both of my folks died your family helped me no matter what the cost was."
"They did it because they knew you were worth it" I said. "Goodbye Steve be safe and if you ever see Bucky tell him I love him and that I love him a lot."
"Will do" he says"Hey Alexia?" Steve says
"Yeah?"
"Make me a promise that you'll live your life full of happiness?"
"I promise Steve."Holding back tears.
And with that my other brother was gone.
