Brenda's first battle

Peter's Pov
"I would rather not explain with the girls in the room. Peter can tell you." Brenda told Aunt May. I sighed, got up and took Aunt May upstairs.
"Peter, what's going on?" She asked me. I didn't know how to explain to her that Brenda was attacked this morning.
"Aunt May before I tell you anything you have to promise not to freak out." I told her.
"Peter, you know I can't.........."
"Promise me." I interrupted. I couldn't have her flipping out with the girls still here.
"Okay, I promise." She told me.
"Brenda was attacked this morning at the avenger's tower. Thor and I were there to help. When I reached the kitchen Brenda was knocked out cold, so I picked her up and carried her here and laid her down on my bed. Amanda is here because she saw me carry Brenda into the house." I told her. She looked at me with unbearable eyes. I couldn't handle the looks, so I left. I went downstairs and into the Living room where Anna was. I entered the room only to find my big brother, Maxwell, there.
"Amanda, why did you call Maxwell?" I asked. I didn't hide that I was irritated. Next thing I know she is going to be talking about mom the whole time.
"He deserved to know Peter. Brenda has been gone since Mom died. He needed to see for himself that she was here." She responded. I could see where she was coming from. He did deserve to know. I hate it when she is stubborn.
