Brenda's first battle

*1 week later*
Steve's Pov
I felt Brenda stirring beside me on our bed. I woke up and touched her arm to assure her that she was alright. The next thing I knew was she shot out of bed and ran down the hall. I got up and ran after her. I caught up to her just as she ran into the bathroom and barfed into the toilet. All I kept thinking to myself was 'what did that monster do to her'? I walked up to her and sat down on the floor beside her. I grabbed her hair and pulled it out of her face. We sat there for a good half hour before Anna walked into the bathroom. She looked over at us and sat next to us. 15 minutes later Brenda was done barfing. She looked at me with apologetic eyes.
"Brenda, are you okay?" Anna asked.
"I think I need to see Bruce" She responded. I asked Anna if she could take her. She gladly accepted.
Brenda's Pov
After a good 45 minutes throwing up, Anna and I were on our way to the medical bay so I can see Bruce. Jarvis alerted Bruce after we left the bathroom so he was there when we arrived. Bruce took me to an open examination room and started taking my temp and blood pressure. I didn't have a fever and my blood pressure was just fine.
"Brenda, I'm going to have to ask you if you could pee in this cup for me please." Bruce told me. The last time he asked me that was when I first arrived at the Tower.
"You have to take a pregnancy test? Bruce...... I'm not pregnant." I told him. He just sighed at me and told me it was just to be sure. I went to the bathroom and filled the cup, then returned it to Bruce.
"I will have Jarvis alert you when the results come back." He told me. I nodded and left. After leaving the medical bay, I went to the kitchen only to smell Steve cooking sausage and pancakes. The smell nauseated me. The next thing I knew I was on the bathroom floor again. 15 minutes later Jarvis told me that my results have come back. I went to the medical floor and talked with Bruce.
"So what were my results?" I asked him.
"You came back......." He started but trailed off. I knew that they came back Positive.
"I can't be positive. I can't." I said as I took a seat and started crying. Apparently Jarvis told Steve of my location and my emotional state because he sat down next to me and gave me a comforting hug.
"Why is my mistress crying?" He asked me. I shook my head indicating that I didn't want to say.
"Brenda is......"
"I'M PREGNANT BRUCE I KNOW THIS." I shouted in his face before storming off. Steve was just a couple of paces behind me.
"Brenda!" He was shouting after me. "Brenda." He said as he grabbed my arm completely stopping me.
"Go ahead. Tell me I shouldn't have blown up at him like that. Steve you know we can't afford to have me weak and vulnerable. It would mean that I can't protect the girls." I said.
"I don't care that you yelled at him. I'm just surprised that Hulk didn't come out and scream." He said before laughing. I was actually shocked too. Before I had the chance to respond Tony walked into the Medical Bay.
"WHAT TONY?" I yelled at him.
"Yesh. Still mad about the slap." He said.
"No. How about I'm fucking an emotional wreck because I'm fucking pregnant." I spat at him. He just looked from me to my flat belly. It irritated me so I stormed off. 'I can't be pregnant. Not now.' I thought to myself.
