Brenda's first battle

After yelling at Tony and then storming off I realized that I shouldn't have, so I went looking for Tony. I was wondering for a good 45 minutes before I gave up looking.
"Jarvis, where's Tony?" I asked the A.I. System.
"He is in his lab." Jarvis replied. I headed off towards the lab. I walked in only to find Tony off in a corner whispering to Pepper.
"Am I missing something, or are you secretly planning a wedding?" I asked, startling both of them.
"Hey Brenda. Tony was just telling me that there is another Rodgers on the way. Congrats." Pepper responded.
"Thanks. I just wasn't expecting this to happen now." I told Pepper. Pepper told me nothing is ever expected then walked out. I looked back at Tony, only to find him looking at me with hatred.
"Why are you here, Brenda?" He asked me.
"To apologize for being rude earlier. I shouldn't have snapped at you the way I did. My question to you is, why were you on the medical floor to begin with?" I responded. Tony just ignored the question, and went over to the suits. He walked up to one that was under a tarp before turning to me.
"I needed you to help me with a little project, but you are in no condition to help so it can wait." He replied. I couldn't believe he just said that. He literally just called me weak.
"Hey, if I'm not fat yet, I can help. What's the project?" I told him. He just gave me the look he always does when I become stubborn.
"It's a confetti canon for Anna and Peter's wedding. yeah I know they haven't set the date yet but at least we can have it finished." I liked the sound of that. Any sign of him being mad at me before was gone.
"Alright then, lets get to work." I replied. About 5 minutes after I started working, Steve walked into the room.
"Brenda......" He started but I cut him off.
"Steve, I'm fine. I won't over due it." I assured him.
"That's not why I came in here. It's Peter." My heart sank.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Brenda why don't we save the confetti canon for another time. Go check on Peter." Tony said. I thanked him and went with Steve. he was explaining to me what happened. When we walked into the common room, it was Dark.
"Why are the lights off?" I asked as I turned them on.
"Surprise!" I jumped right out of my skin when I heard everyone shout.
"What's the occasion?" I asked.
"Did you forget that it was your birthday?" Steve replied.
"No, but how did you know? I never told you." I asked.
"You can blame that on me. I couldn't just let your birthday pass without a celebration. After all you are my sister." Peter said. I ran straight into his arms and gave him a hug. I was glad that he told Steve because I did deserve a party.
"Happy Birthday Brenda." Anna told me.
"Thank you Anna. Oh I have something for you." I said before going to my room. I came back and handed her a box.
"What's this?" She asked. I could tell she was confused.
"It's a late birthday present. I never found the right time to give it to you." I told her. She started to open it just as Peter walked up and took it out of her hands in a playful manner.
"Hey." She said laughing.
"A wedding present?" He asked.
"No it's her late birthday present from me." I told him. I couldn't help but laugh because he turned bright pink in embarrassment.
"Sorry pix. Didn't mean to..... what I mean is..... I'm gonna go." He said as he walked away.
"I've never seen him like that before. It's new for me." Anna said. It was funny to see him stutter like that.
"Yeah me to. Open your present before someone else skiffs it." I said. She opened her present fully and pulled out a beautiful veil.
"Oh Brenda. It's beautiful." Anna said. Peter must have seen it because he walked up to us.
"That was our birth moms wedding veil. Where did you get it?" Peter asked.
"I gave it to her." Dad said walking up to us.
"Why?" Peter demanded.
"Because it was your mothers wish for her to wear it on her wedding day. Now your mom will be apart of your wedding because Brenda wants Anna to wear it on the next Parker wedding." He replied. Anna walked up to me and gave me a hug.
"I will take good care of it." She told me.
