The Goddess is revealed
Whats going on with her?
The next morning, I woke up to find Maddy gone.
I got up to find her, with her head on her knees, sitting in the living room.
I walked up to her, I placed my hand on her shoulder, and once again I yanked my hand away from her skin.
This time, her skin was as cold as ice. “Mads…” I said.
That was one of her many nicknames that I had given her.
She lifted her head up.
Her eyes were red like last night.
“Hi….” She said, weakly.
“Mads, what’s wrong?” I asked her.
“Nothing….” She lied. I sat down beside her.
“Madison, you are a terrible liar, and you know that. I love you, and I want to keep you safe…what’s wrong?” She got up, and walked away from me. “I’m fine……” She said, over her shoulder.
I shook my head.
She walked into the kitchen, I followed her.
She stood by the counter, her head bent over it.
Tears falling from her eyes.
I leaned against the door frame, “You’re not fine….” I said.
“Clint. I’m fine. Okay?” She snapped.
She turned to look at me.
I knew something for certain.
This wasn’t my Maddy; her normal green loving eyes were now, a blood red.
Something was going on with her, and this something was trying to do something to her.
“Maddy…….” I said calmly, walking up to her, my hands up in defence, proving that I wasn’t going to do anything to her.
She stared at me, her red eyes piercing me.
Just then, her eyes went back to normal,they rolled to the back of her head, and she fell backwards.
I caught her, before she hit the ground.
I sat on the kitchen ground, with her head in my lap, her eyes closed.
I stroked her cheek, still trying to figure what had just happened with her.
It was like she was possessed.
By something, like her sudden body temperature change was really strange.
Ever since Maddy had found out that she was a Goddess, things have been pretty weird for her.
