After the dance they went back to their booth soon Debee came with their desert. "Mmm this is good!" Steve said after they finished eating their deserts Bucky asked Steve out to dance again. This time to a song Steve loved his grandparents would play it when they danced. Now it was Steve's turn to dance to the song as it began to play Bucky took the lead again and Steve rested his head on Bucky's shoulder.

"This is nice," Steve said Bucky nodded he looked over Steve's shoulder. He saw Debee dancing with her partner Bucky smiled she nodded. She kissed her partner and walked over to Bucky and placed the ring in his hand. She went back to her partner. Bucky stopped dancing Steve lifted his head off from Bucky's shoulder. "Why did you-" Bucky was getting on one knee. Steve looked at him with wide eyes. Everyone in the restaurant looked over at them "Bucky," Steve said breathlessly. "Steven Rogers would you give me the honor of spending every waking moment and every breath of air with you? Would you let take your hand in marriage?" Bucky said. Everyone in the restaurant were looking at them and holding their breath like Bucky. "Yes...Oh god yes I would marry you!" Steve said Bucky quickly got up and picked up Steve an stun him around. Everyone in the restaurant cheered everyone went up to congregate the newly engaged couple.

After everything at the restaurant Bucky and Steve went home so Steve could give Bucky's present. The planning for the wedding began Bucky told all his friends about him marrying his long time sweetheart they where all happy for me. While at Steve's work all the girls and some boys where happy for him. The wedding went smoothly Steve was given away by Peggy since his parents where both deceased. Peggy still managed to scare Bucky "If you hurt him in any way Bucky I mean in any way I don't care if we are best friends. I will find the most brutal way to end you got it?" she whispered to him when she gave him a hug on the alter. Bucky gulped and nodded the reception was beautiful at the after party everyone congregate them for finally being married and also said it took them for ever to finally get married. Their first dance they danced to their song "You made me the happiest man a live Steve," Bucky said Steve smiled.
Year Later
Steve was not feeling good it has been a year since Bucky and Steve married. Their lives where the best it was still the same it was in the middle of May is when Steve began to feel ill. His stomach was acting funny and he told Bucky about this. "I will drop you off at the doctor I told Peggy you won't be coming in. She will call you later to check up on you call me when you get home okay?" Bucky kissed Steve. Steve nodded Bucky drove off Steve sighed and walked over to the entrance of the Clinic. He waited an hour just to be seen after they ran a few test the doctor set him down. She was a nice woman explain why she couldn't see him on time short staff. "Well Mr. Barnes you are pregnant," she said Steve's eyes went wide "W-what!?" he asked shocked. "Pregnant. You are pregnant you are three weeks along," she said soon after Steve left the Clinic. Steve got a taxi and went home 'Me pregnant... I am pregnant...' he thought then he smiled and placed a hand on his stomach.
'Bucky and I are going to be parents,' Steve chuckled when the taxi pulled up to his house he paid the man. When he stepped inside the house phone began to ring. He walked over to it "Hello?" 'Steve dear how are you feeling' it was Peggy. "Happy," Steve said 'Happy? So there is nothing wrong with you?' she asked him. Steve smiled he sat down on the couch "I'm pregnant," he said he heard a thud. "Peggy!? Peggy are you okay!?" Steve called out he heard shuffling "Peggy?" Steve asked 'I'm going to be an aunt!? Steve this is wonderful! Does Bucky know?' Steve thought for a moment how will Steve tell Bucky. "No he doesn't know I am going to tell him tonight," he said Peggy squealed through the phone.
Steve text Bucky telling him he was fine that also he was going to the book shop. It wasn't that far of a walk from the book shop it was a ma and pa book shop. "Hello Steve dear how are you feeling?" Mal asked him he gave her a big grin "Wonderful Mal I was wondering if you have any parenting books or baby books?" Steve asked her "Sure we do its just down to the hall on your left," she said Steve thanked her and went in search for the books. He found three books walked back over to the counter "Steve dear are you expecting?" Mal asked she looked at Steve with a brow raised and a smile on her face. "Yes," he said Mal squealed "Oooh does Bucky know!?" she asked Steve shook his head "Surprising him," he said and left.
When he got home Bucky was there "Bucky why are you home early?" Steve said stepping into the house. "Yeah James let me go early to surprise you I have news to tell you," he called out from the kitchen. "Really? I have news to tell you too," Steve said walking in "Alright who is going to go first?" Bucky asked he handed Steve a wine glass but Steve place it on the counter. "1,2,3?" "Yeah 1,2,3," "1," "2," "I GOT A RAISE!" "I'M PREGNANT!" at that very moment Bucky dropped the wine glass it shattered. "W-what?" Steve gave him a small smile "I'm pregnant found out this morning I have been for three weeks," Steve was waiting for Bucky to say something anything. Bucky ran to him and picked him up "Really?! Are you sure!?" Bucky asked all happy "Yes I am pregnant we are going to be parents!" Steve said.
